Great road win for the Bulls.
And we did it without having to double up on Howard.
Now 5-1 on the road.
Most being wins vs teams over .500
Deng 21 points 5 dimes 1 steal
C. Boozer 20 points 13 boards
J. Noah 10 boards 2 steals
D. Rose 21 points 8 boards 10 dimes 1 blk 2 steals
K. Korver 18 points (5-7 3's)
T. Gibson 7 points 5 boards 2 blks
We basically played rotating 8 players.
When Rose gets offensive help the Bulls look unbeatable.
Next up is Atlanta.....

Team is looking great this year despite not making any major changes. I would feel alot better if we had a significant #2. Deng is cool but am I the only one that notices when someone scores on him a few times he goes all out reckless trying to score on them?

Bulls look flat. Almost exhausted. And to think starting Monday we play 7 games in 9 days.
Considering the schedules every team will have a few games like the Bulls are having tonight. Even the young teams. Its inevitable imo.
Looks like The Heat will win vs the wack Nets....so we take back seat to them and fall to second place. But only for one night

Yeah they are tired. The bench played heavy minutes tonight too.I have never seen Korver play 35 minutes before. Oh well, can't win them all, on to the next game. Fuck the heat, and their trying to buy a championship ass.
Hell naw! The Bulls need another shooter, Rip isn't enough. I was actually expecting him to be Korver's replacement thinking we were getting another dude. I want the Bulls to go hard after Wilson Chandler when his contract with China ends. People are obviously going to call foul and pull the salary cap card, but fuck it.
I agree about Boozer. Thibs may back him up cause as a good coach, you don't want to give up on your player, but Boozer can't defend well.

I think I would do it...as long as they could get another decent big Man in the package with Howard. When you look at it what Noah and Boozer give us combined Howard can give to us all by himself.
But the question is do you really need to move Boozer and Noah , or just one of em? You get more defense with a young Noah (which fits perfectly with Tom's system)....but you get more offense with an aging Boozer. When Boozer was hurt Noah was giving us a good 15ppg. Hence I would consider moving Boozer before Noah.

Rose has been playing more like a PG this season than any of the past seasons that's he's played in. I know Rose can score over big players...but why would you put him in a spot whereas Lebron sized mofo wil be guarding him every night? Especially if you dont have another consistent scorer to score if Rose gets tangled up. IMO the only thing the Bulls need to do this year is sign another PG to come off the bench and another big Man....and thats it.
Also...why is this even being asked...again.... after only 9 games into the season? 9 games in which the Bull's only looked confused in 3 of em. The question that you asked is a question that should be reserved for a teams thats not winning or capable of winning. That doesnt apply to the Bulls.
Im not a big Boozer fan..mainly because I dont feel he gives it his all every night...but the time to start talking about moving Boozer, Noah etc should be reserved for if we have a major slump in the regular season or if we get knocked out the playoffs again due to inconsistencies from players besides Rose.
Boozer and Noah havent even played 40 games together. RIP hasnt even played 10 games with the Bulls...Coach only been here one year....blah blah blah. Yet the Bulls stil find ways to compete and win. The Bulls are still learning how to play with each other yet we're still better than most teams in the league; and honestly one of the deepest.
Defensively we're the best in the league, But If we lose to the 2.5 player team Heat again in the playoffs due to lack of scoring power...THEN I think they need to start talking about making some moves. We got our issues but it aint panic time imho. Right now it aint really broken..so it doesnt need to be fixed.

Rose had another "PG" type game. He was commanding the floor very well. If you all havent noticed Rose has become more of a passer this season. He's not forcing up 30+ shots early in the games like he was earlier last season....mainly because he hasnt had to. In todays Chicago Suntimes they said that maybe the Bulls shouldnt pass as much as they do. Some of the Bulls players, including Rose, try to play unselfish basketball A LITTLE TOO MUCH and they pass on open shots. A lot of times that hurts the Bulls chances of winning.
Deng didnt score many points...but played great defense. Brewer had another good game playing extra minutes due to RIP being out...think he had 12 points. Taj gave us 9 points off the bench. Boozer also had a nice game. He was the lending scorer with 23. Noah continues to struggle.
I stil believe that Noah didnt start struggling until Boozer got signed. I also think one of many reasons why Noah is getting in foul trouble early is because Boozer want play defense. Noah is left to defend his player and help Boozer defend his player as well; which imo could confuse & wear a player out and force him to make bad defensive plays. Earlier I said I would trade Boozer and keep Noah. But now im second guessing my choice. Noah is a great defender and he did give us a good 15ppg when Boozer was off the floor, but most of those 15ppg came via putback points in the paint. But once Boozer came in and clogged up the lane..all those putbacks ceased for Noah. Boozer on the other hand can score points without them being strictly putbacks...but he hasnt been consistent enough.....so i dont know. I just wish Boozer would stop fading away on so many of his shots and score more points in the paint.
Im still on Noahs side. I just wish the Bulls staff could work with Noah during the off season so he can at least develop a 15 foot jumper. Thats one of the reasons why the opposing team leaves him wide open when he's near the top of the key. It would seem like Noah wouldve went the "Rose route" and worked on his flaws during the extra long off season..but i guess not.
Next up are the Timberwolves. Cant wait to see Rose vs Ricky.
