*****The Offical CAVS vs CELTICS thread*******

I hear Chicago but how is Derrick Rose and Lebron going to work out?

Rose and Lebron need to dominate the ball to be effective.

New Jersey. Get the #1 pick, draft John Wall and trade Devin Harris or #2 pick and draft Turner, maybe get Bosh but if not Boozer at pf.

pg Wall/Harris
sg Trade Harris for a good sg/Turner
sf Lebron
pf Boozer/Bosh
c Lopez

Bench

Yi Jianlian
Courtney Lee

Better than the Cavs right now.
New Jersey doesn't have enough to sign two max players I think.

Your a bulls fan, and you don't want to think about it, but those don't even compare.

Think about WHEN those guys played in relation to Kobe and Shaq.

Then think about the fact that ANYONE who comes in, that is between 6'4-6'8, is compared to Jordan. EVERY TIME. EVERY GAME. EVERY SHOT.

Jordan is still talked about like hell. Shit people make dedication threads to him still.

I think personally it's something he'll think about. I think the same thing happened with Kobe.

Lakers > bulls

its the same difference.

brb lebron at the podium

nets are a dookie and sloppy team.

Stern blessed us with rose for a REASON.

man im happy as hell.

i'd like to see lebron win, but i want the best chance possible to see him leave cleveland.

after this offseason i'll root for him, wherever he ends up.

also Loul garbage deng and kirk hinrich was suppose to take pressure off Rose.

Rose and Lebron is in fucking sane.

New Jersey doesn't have enough to sign two max players I think.

Projected cap is $56 million. Next year New Jersey's salary cap is $22.2 million so they have 35 million, $17 million a piece for two free agents. That should be enough for two max players.

Knicks are at $18 million, only 4 million more with far, far, far less talent than New Jersey. He would be crazy to go to the Knicks. Stay in Jersey for two years and work to get that team better and by 2012 when the team is ready to move to Brooklyn the Lakers will be a lot older and the Nets should be ready to win multiple championships.

Nets vs Thunder. Lebron vs Durant for 5-7 years.

Just got back from the game....LMAO @ this thread getting another 20 pages for this game alone

My nicca Beeiii must've been holding it down

The C's are on to the next on!
:dance::dance::dance::dance::dance:

Reporter " How did you feel about the gameplan"

Not possible.

It's 16.5 mil. Then say they have the first pick overall. That's 4 mil.

20 mil of your 35. 15 left. They can sign one if they take a little less. That would take a lot of convincing though, considering they're already gonna leave 30 mil to sign elsewhere.

If two of them were going to one team, why the nets over the knicks? does John Wall put it over the top? A rookie? By the time Wall is contributing enough, it's year three - they can't win before then without him?

And why take a paycut to play in jersey, when you can get two max contracts in NY?

The Knicks have nobody on their roster. Curry, Gallinari, Chandler & Toney Douglas vs Wall/Turner or Harris, Yi and Lopez. New Jersey has much more talent. Enough for Lebron to say let Bosh or Amare get max money and I'll take four million less or get Boozer for 10-12 million and Lebron get max money.

Cavaliers Go Out With A Whimper

340x_lebron_01.jpg

LeBron James had a triple-double, Mo Williams answered the bell, but when push came to shove the Cleveland Cavaliers laid down and took what the Celtics gave them. That was that. And now the basketball world....EXPLODES!
LeBron was also one turnover away from a quadruple-double. He dribbled the ball off his foot. He threw lazy, bad passes. When the team needed big baskets, he settled for long jump shots. And in the end, he and teammates simply gave in. Down nine, with just over a minute to go, they couldn't even be bothered to go through the time-honored charade of fouling to extend the game. The effort was lacking, as they say.
Will he be back in Cleveland? Do they even want him back at this point? Maybe if they could keep him and no one else, but either way, basketball in this town will not be fun for awhile. Neither will the next few months of uninformed speculation, but I guess that's why they invented baseball.
And worst of all ... oh, the Celtics. Bill Simmons' "Celtics Chants" stunt may or may not have affected the outcome of the game—I'll go with "not"—but Boston fans were indeed shouting jabs in unison on his command. So guess what annoying trend will take over sports world next fall? Mark it down: By Labor Day, every college football and basketball squad in the country will have a Twitter account, run by some over-caffeinated accounting major who just knows that he loves his team the team the mostest, and it will be ordering student sections around via smartphone. So much more efficient that just, you know, cheering spontaneously. The future is here and it is obnoxious. Thanks a lot.
Gee, maybe they'll get to play the Lakers again, too. Who wouldn't love to see that?

man i was at the strip club watching the game...with ass in front of my face...full focused....asked the stripper who she was going for she said Cleveland told her to get off me....got a Celtics Supporter to throw some ones at.:lol::lol::dance::dance::dance:

Im telling you, lazy passes with the right hand, weak left hand dribbling in traffic, no power dunks, no points from the right. I know James is a stand up guy and is not going to disclose his injury but clearly he was hampered. I know people are bringing up that he is ambidextrous but if you look at his top ten dunks you see that he got them all on fast breaks or driving to his right, and notice how strong he is with his right hand, especially comparison to how he played in this series.

I think Lebron threw them games

Maybe.

He couldn't leave the Cavs if they won the championship or even if he got to the finals against the Lakers so he still has the excuse that he doesn't have good teammates to win so he can now sign with another team.

Next year the Cavs will just be a year older with Shaq and Z as free agents. No room to sign anybody else. There is no reason at all for him to stay in Cleveland.

why though?
don't know but looks like he played like that on purpose. maybe he got into it wit the coach and just acted like a lil bitch...I don't know but that nigga did that shit on purpose. shit is so obvious. nigga go to the hole and just give the ball to the other team. Cleveland should make that nigga pay some money back to em for them two games.

It was clear to anyone anyone who wasn't trying to somehow hurt Lebron with a message board post. Can't carry scrubs and geezers with one hand!

"some lame bullshit excuse in large font about LeBron's right hand.

:smh::smh::smh::smh::smh::smh::smh::smh::smh:

look here, mayne, do me a favor-- don't quote any of my posts ever again.

You've been harping on all night about LeBron's right hand and shit, basically trying to apologize for what's been the worst debacle to happen to a front-running ass favorite bandwagon team than the Yankees dropping four straight to the Red Sox. Your insistence on dick-riding Squire (def. not "King") James with this "his right hand" stuff is tantamount to the WorldWide Leader's constant harping about his elbow. Have you once given credit to the C's for playing team defense and having veteran leadership, along with a phenomenal point guard?

tonight you've achieved what it's taken many posters on BGOL years to do. You have sonned the shit outta yourself and set yourself up to be clowned for the entire duration of the summer and up through the next NBA season until LeBron finally decides to choke on the big one in Game 7 of next year's finals, only to be bailed out by teammate Danilo Gallinari in the final seconds. Only then will you be forgiven, but for now...

I think he was in a no win situation, if he was to stay out then they would have called him a quitter, if he was to tell people how injured he was, they would have said he was making excuses and the decoy role would not have worked at all (not that it fooled Boston, at all). At the end, he had to suck it up and play his best, unable to talk about it, while cats pop off at the mouth. Like I said I went through it when I was injured, and that shit was humbling like a mother fucker, but as soon as I got better I was was ruthless on the court.
Where ever James decide to play next year, I would expect him to be more meaner and more ruthless.
