Williams: Good, not great PG

O'Neal: Over the hill big man who doesn't command the attention he did 5-7 years ago

Jamison: Too small to be a PF, a decent shooter but no one that you can count on to drive to the cup or dish to an open man, doesn't like to rebound and is a average defender at best

West: Probably has the most heart on the team, but too inconsistent, too many TO's

This debacle is on Cleveland's management as must as it is the players. The ONLY reason they even beat Chicago was because they shot and three's all series to stretch out close games.

Every play the Cavs have is based on James driving and pulling in the defense, once you take away that threat, the other players has to do shit on their own. While they are very good feeding off of James, they are still role players and very poor at creating their own shots.

I think Lebron has been the best player in the league for more than two seasons. Even with the best regular season record, the Cavs really werent for real. They never really looked like a well-coached championship team..there have been scores of teams that have had the best record and failed to win titles or even get to the finals.

But I guess my point is this... there is a reason organizations like the Lakers are almost always contending... they always keep great players around..the fill the roles correctly around their stars, and they tend to have a HOF coach.

And Lebron wont win a title until he has a real championship team around him and a great coach....

I wasnt saying the Jordan comparison 100 percent equated..but I think the point is clear..it takes more than one great player to win a title

Having Bynum slides Pau and Odom down. Creates a bigger mismatch at PF and forces the boston d to play a little more honestly. In that series Boston pretty much zoned everyone out and focused on Kobe. With Bynum they have two 7 footers and a 6'10 SF. Paul Pierce would have to guard Odom instead, and there would be a lot more easy plays under the basket.

Sasha Vujacic had to put in some time in that series. With Ariza you barely play Sasha, and Ariza comes strengthens the bench.

Don't think winning the title was a given, because that's how LA fucked up when it came to the Celtics that year.

The only game Pau played well was when Chris Mihm was playing center and Pau could play pf against Garnett and not Perkins. Made a huge difference. Bynum just needs to be a big body at the least against the Celtics if the Lakers meet up with them so Pau doesn't have to play center.

I never said that, especially b/c the last thing they needed was another role player, which is exactly what Jamison was in this series.

which is why i was never high on the cavs in the first place. you can check my record i did no think this was going to be a difference maker. you guys need a point guard. if you guys had brandon jennings or russel westbrook you'd be advancing right now

Well it can work if he is able to take it strong to the hole, if you take away that part of his game, then his teammates become more of a liability rather than great role playing assets.

Those series with Kobe his team wasn't a championship contender. This year the Cavs were a championship contender, best record & with the best player in the league and they couldn't even get out the second round.
