Thomas had 5 points Game 3 down from 22 by the way. Bayless isn't very good but he was blowing past Rose. Kidd saw it and took advantage.

The problem the Bulls going to have with the Cavs, is unlike the Bucks they can shoot for a high % and don't need to use their guards to crash the offensive boards in order to grab rebounds.. This means even after a miss shot players such as LeBron, Kyrie and JR should be able to get back and play defense reducing the amount of easy points the Bulls was getting after the Bucks missed shots.
If you notice when the Bucks was able to set their defense the Bulls offense looked very stagnant and clumsy..
Matter of fact the problem and get in reverse for the Bulls, only because Jimmy likes to help out on the offensive boards for easy put backs, but vs the Cavs he is going to have to be ready to sprint back just go avoid Love hr passes the other way.. As a result you can expect the Bulls to have less offensive rebounds..

That's what I need to know. who's going to guard him in the post, especially when Kevin Love plays... because the bulls have no trouble running the offense around and through Noah if the Cavs want to try and assign him to love and Noah is one of the best passing big men in the game.
I dont know what's going to happen in the series its not going to be a cake walk for anybody based on anything you can definitively say on either side at this point.

The way you get to Rose is by attacking him and making him play both sides of the court.. If your guards aren't active on the offensive side, Rose will conserve his energy and kill you of the other side of the court.
Rose should have his hands full trying to deal with Kyrie, his ability to penetrate and trying to stay with him with all of the screens and pick and rolls.. Notice the problem and mix up Rose had during the end of last game, well you can expect the confusion to be even greater trying to stay with Irving.

Real rap Dude, all that shit is a moot point... D Rose will see about 5 minutes a game guarding Kyrie before they slide him over to jump shooting J.R. They will keep Butler on Kyrie because anybody with commonsense knows Kyrie will roast the hell out of D Rose, and with all that whip whap, they run the risk of Rose fucking up his fragile knees again. Not trying to be funny but I honestly believe this.
Rose's inability to guard Kyrie is going to fuck up the Bulls defensive rotations and leave LeBron to own the hell out of them, because Butler is their best chance of guarding LeBron.
Kyrie is a totally different player now than before, and has grown into playing his position.
Mark my words both LeBron and Kyrie will have huge series, and if the Bulls don't figure out a way to regularly engage Gasol, it might go 6 games. That's what cost them todays game, Gasol didn't get enough touches and it fucked their offensive chemistry up...

Gasol is a goof who can't play against players his height, and has benifited from playing aside other good centers... But vs the Cavs they have Mozgov and Love who can take away what the Bulls bigs do best, that is crash the boards and unlike most opponents they will not have Butler height advantage to help out in the paint..
Not only that the Cavs also have Thompson and even Perkins will play a roll in the series.. So based on personnel alone, the Cavs should not be forced to double up or even trap too often... On the other side however there are two players that the Bulls are going to have to double up or at least try to pack the paint in order to slow down... This should open the doors wide open for the jump shooters.. If the Cavs hit their open jumpers, the series wont even be close.

What the Bulls may do if they get desperate is slide Rose on JR and have Brooks stick Irving, they they may play Butler at sf vs LeBron but that may cut into Mirotic mins.. But that may not work because LeBron should be able to feast on Jimmy do to the fact that everything that makes Jimmy great, his size, for his position, and speed vs most bigger guys, will be notified and he is average at best defending bigger stronger guys..

Note that Kyrie has shut down most of the elite pg he has faced the 2nd half of the season... Even if Rose scores 30 in a few games it would still be difficult for them to offset the scoring of the Cavs side of the ball..

Difference is, Put LeBron on Rose, JR is a completely different defensive player since coming to the Cavs, so he will hold his own against Butler, and if I had to bet on a player exploiting a mismatch consistently to the point of changing the tone of a series I take LeBron over Butler any day of the week...
