You're absolutely right, I would check a white person in a minute, just like I'd smack the shit out of you for saying some shit to my sister that I could say to her, or my cousin, or my homie I've known since 4th grade. There are somethings that I can say to me peeps that you can't, and vice versa.
I love how dumb niggaz like you get on me for saying nigga, while at the same time this motherfucker
can say whatever he wants about Jews because he's a Jew.
And this motherfucker
can say what he wants about his people, because he's Mexican.
Even women call each other bitches all the time. Yet, whenever a Black man uses his privilege as a Black man to communicate with his brother in a way that others can't, then it's a problem for White people and house niggaz like you.
I'll speak for Huey Newton, Bobby Seal, The Last Poets, Gil-Scott Heron, and all the real niggaz out there and tell you to eat a dick.
Exactly, I'm from the hood, and I work for a charity. Do I wear baggy jeans, Afro and Jordans? Yeah. But my job allows me to, so I'm actually designing games and literature for kids and people to help them learn how to be involved in the community. I bet you I'm doing more in my community than Sir Woods and all those other coons in this thread, even though I dress the way I do. I've probably met more Black leaders and icons in my short life, than most of these idiots have seen on TV in their lives. I've been in the game since I was a kid, starting out with the Nation, who enlightened me to get involved in politics and my community.
But I guess because I don't wear a suit everyday, I'm just a dumb ass nigga.
Who??? Who are these Black people calling Obama a sell-out? I had the privilege to be in at an Obama rally last night, in one of the most notorious ghettos in America, watching grown men and women crying their eyes out looking at Michelle and Barack Obama. If you were to come to any hood in Amerikkka and say anything bad about either one of them, you'd get shot. Just stay in whatever suburb you live in and shut the fuck up. Don't speak for us.
And if you knew you issues, then you'd know that "Niggaz" are made not born. "Niggaz" have been made by the bad schools that come from the deprivation of money in the inner-cities. "Niggaz" have been made by the ghetto. "Niggaz" have been made by the cops who sell drugs in our community, while at the same time, harrassing old ladies and little kids. "Niggaz" have been made by a drug war that saw it's own government ship all the jobs out of the inner cities, then ship drugs into our communities, then use Black people as the scapegoat, while locking up millions of fathers, brothers, and cousins, who weren't there to raise the next generation of Black leaders.
You Larry Elder sounding ass niggaz make me sick.
Huey, Malcolm, The Black Panthers would spit in you house niggaz' faces.
Exactly, as do I. My job is actually to deal with people "in the hood" and I actually work for Obama in a indirect way, so I've spoken to a ton of people. I even had to suffer through some nigga who was high as fuck last night, who kept telling me, "That's the next president of the USA, right chea!!!" and everybody was lookin' like "Oh God", but he was proud as fuck. Young nigga rockin' a Carolina jersey
People are more excited about this than anything in the history of existence, even moreso than the OJ verdict. It's like Hip-Hop doesn't even exist right now, where I come from.
So, you outside niggaz, who either used to live in the hood, or live in the burbs, but claim to know a few niggaz in the hood, stop lyin' on us. Do not put your issues on us.
Who? You must not live in Amerikkka or something, or at least in the hood or around Black people.
It's not about "complaining" it's not as simple as baseball. Hell, right now, all the Black players like Gary Sheffield, Kenny Lofton, and Barry Bonds are complaining about how shit hasn't changed all that much in baseball. They're saying they're still trying to keep "us" out, so that might be a bad example.
Will there be more Blacks in politics? Yes, but that was never the problem. How does Obama being president automatically restore the tax-bases, home equity, schools, and social services of every Black city in Amerikkka? Those are the things that have kicked out ass, not that a bunch of lazy ass niggaz just don't wanna do right. The worst educated come from the worst schools and the poorest cities. That has absolutely nothing to do with a Black man being president or not. Unless you're gonna raise all of us in Hawaii or in racially accepting places like that or send us all to private schools, then to Harvard, it's a completely moot point that somebody like Larry Elder or Armstrong Williams would make. Michelle Obama's story is closer to ours than Barack's is. Barack's story will probably never be equalled and achieved again, just because of how weird it is.
EXACTLY!!!
John McCain just came from a motorcycle biker weekend at Sturgis, where he pondered aloud if he should enter his wife into one of those redneck beauty pageants where women strip and shit. John McCain's embracing the rednecks and country audience, because he's making the pitch that he's not above anybody, even those meth-head, rocked out bikers in South Dakota.
But once again, elitist ass niggaz wanna find a way to exclude the poorest and least educated and most effected by institutional racism to make their case to "massa" of how special they are.
Are you kidding me? His grandparents, who were not poor raised him and the only time he was really raised by his mother, he lived in Indonesia. How many Black people you know story's sound like that?
I aint grow up in Hawaii or Indonesia. Did anybody you know????
Going to private schools like
Punahou School, which is one of the best schools in Amerikkka, from 5th grade up until he graduated from High-school is not the life that your average kid from Detroit leads. Stop trying to make his story everybody elses. It's not. Nobody said that he didn't have a father. Hell, Biggie Smalls' kids don't have a father, but that don't mean that they live in Bed Stuy does it? A lot of people don't have a father, who aren't from the hood. It doesn't take away from his accomplishments, but stop trying to make it seem like he's from Compton or something. If he was from Compton, chances are, he wouldn't be where he's at. It's just fact.
First off, Marvin Harrison is known as one of the least "hood" dudes in all of sports, so that makes your point really stupid. And yes, Barack's struggle is a different struggle. Hawaii is not Compton, nor has it ever been. It's not Detroit. It's not Gary. It's not Washington D.C. in the 1980s. It's not the same. Nobody saying he's not Black, just that his story is pretty unlikely to ever be duplicated by anybody who's father wasn't a "goat-herder" from kenya and who's mother was from Kansas, but then moved to the most racially diverse and open places in America, then moved to Jakarta Indonesia, where they received lessons in another language, and then moved back to Hawaii, and then was accepted to one of the best most open minded schools in Amerikkka in 5th grade, and then experimented with drugs and alcohol, and then went to Columbia University, and on to Harvard.
If all these things happen in this exact sequence, then you too can be Barack Obama.
Nobody's said you can't be successful from the hood. There's too many people who are, who's life stories are way closer to most Black people than this guys. That doesn't make him any less Black, just that his life story is way, way, way more interesting and different than most Americans.
