The "Just so you know" Thread : Beneficial Information

Every year there is a thread about shaving and ingrown hair and everyone gives you advice. Well there are some people that if they shave real close that new hair growing back out will never make it out your skin. Tendskin, special razors and others will not work. I tried it all well almost all of the tips from here.

You need to not shave real close or get laser hair treatment. They do have a laser that is designed for black people's skin and I'm currently doing the treatments right now.

throat punches are the easiest way to knock a mutha fuka out -- especially if he's much larger than you. BUT you also risk inflicting major damage to the wind pipe. it's also a strike first/hard-as-you-can type of move since nobody will stand there and just let you hit him the throat

NEVER strike someone in the throat unless your intent is to kill them! The trachea is relatively fragile and crushing it can lead to breathing complications like death. You don't want to go to prison for murder because some big dude stepped to you and you got scared :smh:

Strikes to the eyes, nose, groin and instep (inner part of the foot) are quick disablers that are non lethal and can turn a fight in your favor quickly

I got one....

Pay your mortgage bi-monthly instead of monthly, Depending on your loan amount and rate, you could save about a hundred or so a month.

Don't ask me how it works, my wife handles that shit...

the interest builds up over the term of the loan..this is why its wise to finance for the shortest term possible.

Well here something if you have a problem at any store that has a corporate office have a crazy, angry, white lady call them for you and them bitches will cave in to her demands. Gawd damn these white women(some not all) think everything should go they way no matter how much in the wrong they are.

This shows you how to properly adjust the mirrors in your car to help with the blind spots. I bought a charger a couple years ago and set my mirrors like this and have no problem with the bad blind spots it has. I don't really have to turn my head to look for other cars but still do sometimes.

Got my mirrors set so that cars will not be shown in two mirrors at the same time. When a car leaves one mirror it will be in the other.

If there is no doctor/hospital around and you step on a rusty nail/get an infection in a wound, take some flour, cut up an onion and grate some
Nutmeg.
Mix them all together with some water to make a paste.
Place it on the wound and tie it up.

The next morning all the rust/puss will be on the hardened paste.

If you don't want to drink senna leafes or castor oil to cleanse your body once In a while just take a tea spoon of Epsom salts and add it to a 1 liter bottle of water.
Everyday before you go to bed take a shot glass full for a month or so.

If your head light are out throw on your high beams, better to get a ticket for having your high beams on then to get one for no having a missing light.

About that headlight, I did that before, but one day a cop pulled me over and told be to dim my lights.

Apparently, he knew the deal. I just played dumb. Luckily, he let me off with a warning.

Gotta to give props to the poster Flawless on his lemon water thread. 2+ years drinking this shit and I have not got sick at all. Man no stuffy nose or runny nose nothing. I have had a couple of scares when I stop drinking regularly but after I get some rest wake up feeling fine. I'm around sick people all the time too when they come in my job needing help for medicine. They be coughing and all up in my face too nasty fucks.

Lol, yea they normally let you slide, I been playing dumb about my dark tints for the past 2 yrs. Its amazing what you can get away with when you play dumb with the police.

Easy way I find to manage my money is by using Mint.com. Its a free budget planner and does a good job on giving you the heads up on your money just need to plug in your info and you should be good to go.

Can't remember if I or others have mention in this thread already but I figure most on here have some kind of checking account for their money. Well instead of just having a regular one get a reward checking account. I was fucking with the regular for awhile and been on my reward checking for over a year.

Mine is 4.01% APY and I get all my money from atm fees back by just having:
12 or more purchases from my debit card.
1 direct deposit to my account
1 bill paid from my account.

I get $60 a month from doing this I know that is not that much but shit its free money. I would make more but my credit union decrease the amount of money you could have in your account to qualify for this.

I would love for someone to school me on other shit like mutual funds etc.

Fuck don't know why I didn't make this one of my 1st bit of info just made me think of it since graduation coming up and kids are going off to college.

I was able to live rent free for most of my college years b/c we had an section 8 apt complex that pretty much was only housing college kids hardly anyone knew about this place. Most of the college kids living there were Asian kids with pimped out rides. We found out about the place b/c one of OU football star players lived there and told my boy at practice about it. The waiting list is long I had to wait about a year to get in.

It was not in a bad area b/c well this is Norman, Oklahoma we talking about. I got a Asian friend who will not leave from there  he put in a lot of years at that spot. Just something to look into in your area if you in school or about to start. Different places might have some strict rules b/c after living there for 2 years they made kids moved out if they were not 21 years of age when it was 18 when I first got there.

Ambi fade cream. Shit works fast. Had a football scar from my younger years on my forehead from my helmet. The spot would really bother me since I like to cut my hair real low so it would stand out to me. Man I think it was Soup Nuts that mention it and I used it man that shit faded in like a month. Do not use this shit too much and be looking like that Jamaican rapper.

Thanks for this valuable thread.

1. At the end of every night before I go to bed, I empty my loose change into two jars. Pennies in one jar and all the other coins in another. And then I drop in a minimum of $2 to $20 EVERY NIGHT! I have an all cash hustle so I always have cash at the end of the day. Some days are better than others and when times are good, I pay myself well. It gives me a sick kind of stimulation when so many bills have accumulated that I need to straighten them out and wrap them in rubber bands. Day by day the money grows and it's not intended for anything specific. Typically I cash out before I go on vacation with my family. I've already paid for the flight/travel. I already have money set aside for hotel, food & activities. So it's a great feeling to know you have a couple grand to ball out and blow on whatever while on vacation. But of course, spend yours on whatever you'd like.

2. Don't break the chain!
Do you struggle with procrastination or need help building momentum? This is what Jerry Seinfeld did to help his writing process, but use it for anything you need to. Let's just say... reading books.
First get yourself a calendar with the entire year on one sheet and post it up in a prominent area. Plan to do your reading everyday for say 30 minutes. Once you complete that task, mark your calendar with a big red X. After a few days, you will have formed a chain of red X's. You'll have the satisfaction of visually seeing your accomplishments and become driven to not break the chain. I just started this exercise and so far so good.

good thread op...I have a question and mabye someone knows the answer to it cause I'm totally lost.....My aunt passed this past Monday from cancer and they're having the services next Tuesday..she had insurance but the family still was short on the rest for the services, so my question is how does one go about letting the insurance company knows someone has passed, and how long does it takes for the company to send funds for burial expenses ????

Sorry to hear that
If she has had insurance for more than 2yrs, the funeral home will give you a loan. When my pops pass, the funeral home gave us a loan for 8gs, paid for the funeral and the burial(not the grave stone ). The owner said that he usually charges a percentage, but he didn't because we were sent to him by a friend of his. The one right down from him said they do it too, but they only give up to 5gs and they charge you ten percent.....
