The "Just so you know" Thread : Beneficial Information

Sorry to hear that
If she has had insurance for more than 2yrs, the funeral home will give you a loan. When my pops pass, the funeral home gave us a loan for 8gs, paid for the funeral and the burial(not the grave stone ). The owner said that he usually charges a percentage, but he didn't because we were sent to him by a friend of his. The one right down from him said they do it too, but they only give up to 5gs and they charge you ten percent.....

ok cool thanks for the info...she didnt have it for two years so they are just going to give the family back what was paid toward it, They are just going for the basic 5,000 package..and they had to ask around to get that up, this shit here is why I have insurance and both my parents have some on them as well....I refuse to be out there asking for handouts

Thanks for this valuable thread.

1. At the end of every night before I go to bed, I empty my loose change into two jars. Pennies in one jar and all the other coins in another. And then I drop in a minimum of $2 to $20 EVERY NIGHT! I have an all cash hustle so I always have cash at the end of the day. Some days are better than others and when times are good, I pay myself well. It gives me a sick kind of stimulation when so many bills have accumulated that I need to straighten them out and wrap them in rubber bands. Day by day the money grows and it's not intended for anything specific. Typically I cash out before I go on vacation with my family. I've already paid for the flight/travel. I already have money set aside for hotel, food & activities. So it's a great feeling to know you have a couple grand to ball out and blow on whatever while on vacation. But of course, spend yours on whatever you'd like.

2. Don't break the chain!
Do you struggle with procrastination or need help building momentum? This is what Jerry Seinfeld did to help his writing process, but use it for anything you need to. Let's just say... reading books.
First get yourself a calendar with the entire year on one sheet and post it up in a prominent area. Plan to do your reading everyday for say 30 minutes. Once you complete that task, mark your calendar with a big red X. After a few days, you will have formed a chain of red X's. You'll have the satisfaction of visually seeing your accomplishments and become driven to not break the chain. I just started this exercise and so far so good.

Here's a chart you can download (pdf)

Thanks, I will try that money saved each day as well as the don't break the chain calendar. Much props.

For my PS3 heads that play movies on their systems bad news is DVD rips now can get the cinavia thing to pop up. This just recently happened to me watching Wrath of the Titans(shitty ass movie by the way). Big ups to Leroy Soup Nuts for the info I was able to watch the movie by when it popped up stop the movie, go into my time and date setting, and forward your time clock by 1 hour. I had to do this about 3 times seems the movie will run for about 20 mins before cinavia kicks in.

Something interesting I was schooled on about job interviews. The "What are your weaknesses" question. Usually people always find a weakness they think will make them look good like telling them your a perfectionist. Well this HR lady was like actually tell the interviewer a weakness and also tell them what you are doing to correct it.

Oh job related of course don't go telling them you addicted to pussy, porn, or some other shit.

Well I stopped drinking lemon water daily for over the year ended up getting sick last week.

Anyway I was told to relieve my nasal congestion briefly throughout the day(vapor inhaler you use every 2 hours) to put 2-3 altoids in my mouth. It worked well I assume peppermint candy will open you up. People breath smell bad when they are sick so this could help with that also.
