I think it showed the most when Stringer tried to get Slim to kill Clay Davis and Slim didn't want to and Avon stepped in to not only make Stringer aware of the kind of attention that it would bring to the streets if Clay Davis was killed by a street nigga, but to also defend Slim because Stringer probably didn't care what would happen to Slim if he went after Clay.

omar exit made way for the circle of life plan that the game has in place. Omar was replaced by Michael as Dukie replaced Bubbles. the game dont change, pieces just get replaced like sharks teeth

omar death was not what people wanted but it was what was needed.
he was doing too much shit to not get capped. Kenard didn't respect omar since the 1st time he saw him he was limping and hurt.

Right before he killed Omar Kenard was about to burn a cat, omar started coming and all the kids ran Kenard just stayed there like Omar wasn't nothing.

Also it was big in the hood. It was big to the police that new him but in the morgue they had the wrong name on the body and at the end it was between him and a fire to make the last cut in the newspaper and they chose the fire over him.

Somebody so big in one aspect who means absolutely nothing in others.

Yeah, Slim blamed himself for messing up Cutty's shot, that he fired too early and gave the dude enough time to escape, he didn't see that Cutty actually couldn't take the shot!

After watching the HD rebroadcast and following it on Twitter the shit that tripped me out was when they pointed out the scene:

Namond: "Yo Snoop your little sister in my class.."

Snoop: "Yo is you high or something..."

I don't know who but I think it was actually Namond who tweeted the picture.

This mighta been discussed before but I didn't know and it tripped me out.The level of detail in the story and script was incredible. Made me wonder if that really is Snoop's little sister...

Omar's death was ironic. Here is a hood legend to the point he could rob strips just based off his presence. Actually beefed with the the king of the west side and survived, took an entire shipment from the whole city and sold it back to them and suvived. Had countless amounts of money put on his head yet still could walk the street in his pj's to get breakfast. His flaw was his code he automatically thought of kids kenard age as a civilian who he'd never turn his gun on murdered his ass, but to be honest I believe omar was rattled by bucthie death and then fucking up his leg did not help. I wish he could got Chris I would love to hear there exchange

But he didnt suspect anything when someone robs him of a ring, and he later sees it on someone in his crew. He shouldnt have settled for that answer. Marlo should have suspected that Michael was in cahoots with Omar. He was suspicious of everything. He even had the Greeks boy followed after a meeting for no reason.

michael's loyalty came into question only when they were in holding...@ this point when michael had the ring...marlo had no reason to doubt him or be suspicious of him...again if anything he shoulda been curious imo but I don't see why he would be suspicious of michael esp. when he proved to be completely clueless when marlo questioned him briefly about it

That was all after the fact. Marlo didn't get cautious until he found out the cops were watching him.

At this point of the story, Marlo was trying to recruit Mike.

Marlo knew from Monk and Bodie that Michael wasn't really into that street life yet. He was in school and was dealing for Bodie's crew for school clothes money. Now if Michael was getting money running with Omar, why would he need to slang dope for Bodie (who was also doing bad)?

Also, remember, Mike went to Marlo to have Bug's dad killed. If Mike was running with Omar, why would he need Chris and Snoop to kill Bug's Dad?

Marlo didn't have a reason to believe Mike was running with Omar.

Mike was clearly oblivious to the ring's history when he was asked about it. And was readily willing to give it up because he was indebted to Marlo for taking care of his stepdad problem and giving him a place to stay.
