Thank you Spurs for FINALLY putting the MJ vs Lebron debate to rest… FOREVER!!!

I always felt the Lebron vs Jordan comparisons were insulting to Mike.

I can tell that people have all but forgotten how great that dude was.

Lebron put up nice numbers, sure...

...but it's because that's his style of play. Jordan did Lebron for an entire season, and finished with 32, 8rbs, and 8asts. However, Jordan decided it was better to let other players do their jobs.

Lebron does too much, and when he needs them to step-up, they are used to play in a certain gear, and can't get themselves out of it.

A one-man show cannot beat a great team...

...don't care who it is.

As for those comparisons, they remind me of people who say Randy Moss was > Rice. They look at how freakishly gifted Moss was, and how easy he made the game look at times...

...and because Rice couldn't do those few things, Moss was >.

Sorry. That's not how it works.

When you look at the entire body of work, Jordan annihilates Lebron.

Kobe, Lebron, Durant ... none of those dudes can equal Jordan. They may equal or exceed him in a few areas, and that is a testament to their greatness..

...but NONE of them can do as many things as Jordan did in his career.

Lebron said it many years ago, 'You'll go crazy trying to be Michael Jordan'.

He ain't lied.

Passion and heart>>>>> talent. You can't practice heart, it has to be in you.

Congrats to the Spurs…

Your not a Spurs fan and your Hated is truly female wow just amazing how you rooted for another team that wasn't yours just to hate now that's true. Yoyr signiture should have been go haters we are a team of hate :lol::lol::lol::lol:

9 years out of 15 seasons, I would hate it too.

Bron would never allow himself to get swept out the 1st round ever. Bowing out in April is not in his DNA.:smh:

Bron did wait that one time to get to The Finals to get swept though.

LeBron James is the John Elway of basketball to Michael Jordan's Joe Montana. He'll be remembered as being a great player, but he will never be undefeated when it comes to Championships.

But the 1st round? Twice? C'mon man, thats sucker shit. This cat is not Bron, please stop tryna compare him to him.
After the BULLS made their run once they got over the Pistons hump? How many First Round losses did they have?

LeBron got swept in the Finals. The Finals. The biggest stage of his career, and now he lost 4-1 in the Finals, getting blown out damn near every game.

Nah, Scottie's Joe Montana

6-0 in the Finals, undefeated, and more playoff wins than Mike. Scottie's actually won playoff series before without Mike. Mike's never won without him. Mike is more like Ronnie Lott.

you are joking right? you have to be? come on, tell us the truth.

of course Jordan is not Bron, Jordan went 6-0 while lebron is 2-5. There is no comparison. I wish they would stop too.

Is it necessary for Lebron to be undefeated to surpass Jordan as the goat

Jordan fans have to ignore his failures for the majority of his career. He played 15 seasons and only won 6 Finals. The other 9 years he didnt appear and even was swept out of the 1st round twice. It took MJ 7 seasons just to make a Final. Tim won one his 2nd season and Bron had Cleveland in the Finals in his 4th.

Yes. Just like how Floyd Mayweather is trying to retire undefeated.

Going undefeated puts you in a place completely separate from others who have lost/lost in Championships.

Especially when you have defeated the greats of your era.

You said this 3 years ago, and in 3 more years you'll still have to say it. Jordan cant get out of Brons shadow and his fans will be trying to measure him up to him for years to come.

Russell going 11-1 in the Finals against Top 50 players is better than MJ going 6-0 in 1 of the weakest eras in basketball. Robert Horry is undefeated in the Finals, and has 7 rings. Weak logic.

He aint 2-5

he lost to the spurs as a cav......if Jordan ever took the 89 bulls yo the finals he would have lost as well. Lebron gets punished for making the playoffs

Russell was the greatest of his era, not (IMO) greater than MJ. The NBA was still a very young league when Russell played. Not taking anything away from him, but the game was very different when Russell played compared to Jordan's and LeBron's era.

Robert Horry has never been in the discussion as a GOAT. he was never the focus of an offense and never the number 1 guy on a championship contending team.

This discussion is between MJ and LeBron, stop trying to throw in other basketball players to "support" your view, it's not working.

Stop discounting the majority of MJ's career, 9 years, as a playoff loser to try to compare him to LeBron. I dont have to ignore a HUGE CHUNK of LeBron's career to compare him to legends. You think Jordan was drafted in '91 and retired in '98. :smh:

I'm discussing his career in the FINALS. 6-0 vs 2-3.

Russel played for red Auerbach and had dam near 6 all stars with him

Same thing I said. Sounds like a rant from a woman that says she's a fan just so she can dress cute and go into an arena full of men.

I think this whole MJ vs Lebron debate is bullshit.

MJ cant get out of Bron's shadow. THE ONLY TIME he is mentioned is in reference to LeBron now. That will not change over the course of the next 10 years. Cats say its no comparison but they sure do make sure to bring him up whenever Bron lose. #23 and his fans stay leeching off Inkosi's brand.
