I always felt the Lebron vs Jordan comparisons were insulting to Mike.
I can tell that people have all but forgotten how great that dude was.
Lebron put up nice numbers, sure...
...but it's because that's his style of play. Jordan did Lebron for an entire season, and finished with 32, 8rbs, and 8asts. However, Jordan decided it was better to let other players do their jobs.
Lebron does too much, and when he needs them to step-up, they are used to play in a certain gear, and can't get themselves out of it.
A one-man show cannot beat a great team...
...don't care who it is.
As for those comparisons, they remind me of people who say Randy Moss was > Rice. They look at how freakishly gifted Moss was, and how easy he made the game look at times...
...and because Rice couldn't do those few things, Moss was >.
Sorry. That's not how it works.
When you look at the entire body of work, Jordan annihilates Lebron.
Kobe, Lebron, Durant ... none of those dudes can equal Jordan. They may equal or exceed him in a few areas, and that is a testament to their greatness..
...but NONE of them can do as many things as Jordan did in his career.
Lebron said it many years ago, 'You'll go crazy trying to be Michael Jordan'.
He ain't lied.
Passion and heart>>>>> talent. You can't practice heart, it has to be in you.
