Tesla’s new Robovan

Btw, the van is dope. It will be sold as a shell and customizable. Imagine camper/motor homes that don’t require a driver. The family can travel cross country without anyone driving. Driverless cars will completely change the game. Will save lives, increase our free time, and be cheaper than what we have now.
I don't trust them self driving cars, fuck around and that shit drive you off the road.

How is Elon “fucking up the election”? If Kamala loses, it won’t be because of Elon. Her stance on Israel aggression and the economy is far more impactful than who Elon endorses. The United Autoworkers Union impacts Kamala more than Elon.
You must be trolling if you don’t know how Twitter is a misinformation cesspool of pro Trump Russian bots

But but but but but ELON ISNT INFLUENTIAL IN THE ELECTION!!!!:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Huh??? A CyberTruck takes an hour thirty to fully charge on a supercharger. When you're towing that just eats up battery life, which means you have to recharge more frequently and some places don't have towing stalls, so you have to take the tow off to charge which is more time. These are not going to give you more time.

I’m referring to the CyberVan and Robotaxi. Instead of driving, we will be free to do other things.

So the Cybertruck costs $10 more in energy than a diesel vehicle… chuckles

You still need to pay attention to the road!!!! Free to do other things, like what? You would trust the car to drive while you take a nap? These companies got you thinking AI is Artificial Intelligence, when it is actually Machine Learning and Advance Intelligence!

Technically they didn't have to fill up the diesel vehicle 8 gallons for the 80+miles. So the diesel would cost more to fill up from empty, BUT the Cybertruck takes hour(s) to recharge and needs to recharge more often. So a 3 hour trip now takes 5 and if you're towing it's longer. So what is more important your time or money? Keep in mind enough time can cost more money.

I have FSD and it is improving rapidly. I use it daily with few issues. When I first heard of Uber, I doubted that people would trust strangers in their cars or to drive them, but we don’t think anything of it now.

WHAT?!?!?! Comparing Uber to FSD?!?!?! So if you're having a discussion about surgery do you bring up baseball stats??? What the fcuk does that have to do with anything?!?!?! Uber really??? :cmonson:

Full Self-Driving: A driver assistance feature from Tesla that provides more advanced guidance and assisted driving. FSD includes features like self-parking, auto lane changes, and traffic navigation. However, it's not a fully autonomous driving experience and requires the driver to remain attentive and be prepared to take action.

With few issues??? How long until those "issues" cost you your life?

I can't with you! This shyt is STUPID!!! This shyt is STUPID, STUPID!!!! You have a good night, thanks for the laugh!!!

Elon Musk is a fucking hack idiot.
Driverless cars? Is that the biggest problem we need to solve?
Spaceships to Mars? Mars is inhabitable. What he gonna terraform Mars?

Terraform planet Earth! Make more farms and end hunger!
Make hurricane proof houses!

What the fuck I need a robot for?

We have fucked this planet up and its dying. They are trying to get the fuck off of it and leave us here.

Majority of people buying cybertrucks not towing shit or using them for any actual work. They're vanity "look at me I'm cool" mobiles.

Like it or not them shits selling too. The cheaper $79k models are now being offered to people who on the reserved list. In the next year or 2 we're going see them flooded on the streets like other Teslas.

Cybertruck have already outsold all other EV trucks combined.

Remember these are the $100k+ models that's out selling cheaper EV trucks.

Why are you so emotional? Obviously, you don’t have FSD and likely never been driven by FSD. I have FSD and described my experience and observations of its progress. It’s improving. At its current rate of progress, I’m confident that it will be much safer than human drivers. I used Uber as an example of how we have gained trust in something over time. I’m starting to think that I’m outgrowing BGOL. Some of you are are emotionally imature. Here I am arguing with you about FSD which I use daily. Obviously, you have no experience with it. I haven’t gained anything from this conversation.

Keep in mind the context of the discussion. It was brought up using the robovan for camping. So it is NOT out of the realm of possibility for towing. In the scenario that SOMEONE ELSE BROUGHT UP! I brought up the CyberTruck as a benchmark for Telsa EV's and towing. Your response of trucks sold have nothing to do with the facts of how people have legitimately have tried to use CyberTrucks. You like them, I love that you like them! The technology is not where the hype is, also as problematic as the owner is I can't support it.

I mean technically laughter is considered an auditory expression of a number of positive emotional states. So I guess yes I am emotional, cause I have been laughing my ass off at your responses. Who's arguing? I don't argue in person let alone over the internet!!! "Here I am arguing..." But I'm emotional??? You don't gain anything cause YOU'RE ARGUING!!! Cats like you dig in with your heels and want to fight...over the internet. With faceless people that you don't know and never will meet. The fcuk is the point? You started talking about freeing up time in the RoboVan and Taxi (which you get time freed up with a regular taxi...or UBER!) Then you jumped solely to FSD. You still can't express what other things you'd be free to do instead of driving.

Like I said thank you for the laugh(s)! You're are more than welcomed to remove yourself from BGOL. BGOL was strong before us, it will be just fine after us. I hope you and your FSD have a safe and fulfilling life!

These things can't traverse a construction site, it's gonna do a snow storm?!?!?!
Trucking companies force truckers to drive in dangerous conditions that have killed people. Will they buy into these trucks if they refuse to drive in these unsafe conditions? Will they be able to override safety precautions? If they do override them and kill someone, how will that play out in court? We have a SCOTUS that sided with a trucking company over the life of a trucker. So my ?uestion isn't: "Can we get autonomous driving cars and trucks?" But instead: 'Should we do autonomous cars and trucks?" Cause the minute a trailers brakes lock and some company overrides the governors set in place to prohibit further driving and jack knives killing a bunch of people. Do we have the faith that the government will not side with business and support the citizens?

Oh, also my mothers BMW has FSD or whatever they call it. Now I will admit I am not a fan of BMW's so I am VERY biased when I tried it out. For me the car was too slow when I felt it should go faster (i.e. empty roads) and too fast when I felt it should have been slower (i.e. crosswalks and roundabouts)
