Tariq Nasheed is incredibly smart. I agree with many of his positions and always have. The problem is his lack of loyalty and consistency.
Just like with any other successful person there are a lot of people who supported him along the way. The moment one of them speaks ill of him or publicly disagrees with something he says he'll stop at nothing to degrade them and tear down their character. Just look at his mack pack members, former co-hosts, or some of the talking heads on his documentaries.
Tariq also encourages literal Black and White thinking. In other words, if he likes you then you're about Black empowerment or an ally. If he doesn't you're either a white supremacist, a sellout, or an agent. (If you're gay then expect to find yourself in the latter category by default). His definition of these terms are incredibly fluid and seemed to depend on his whim or ego.
For instance, look at his attack on Kamala Harris Blackness. On one hand he accused her showing off her edges to fake being Black. Meanwhile, those exact same edges were all the confirmation he needed to declare that Prince Harry's wife is Black.
So which is it?
He's also going from promoting The art of macking the telling man to excuse physical assaults by their significant others. Justin Bieber is a white supremacist, but Steve Bannon is only suspect. The issue is that Tariq seeks to monetize for his own personal gain issues that are of vital significance to black people. He basically hijacks narratives from legitimate black scholars and researchers but doesn't use those narratives to further the greater social goals of those scholars and researchers or black people as a whole. He has already pirated the research of Neely Fuller and Francis Cress Welsing. Now that he sees that the "DoS" narrative spearheaded by Antonio Moore and Yvette Carnell is popping, he's jumping on that. Correct me if I'm wrong, but not-so-long ago wasn't Tariq claiming to be a "Moor" whose ancestors were NOT brought here as slaves? He was on that "indigenous" shit, but now he's a "descendant of slaves"? I see that he has already create a "Donate Now" page for that with the "tangibles" and "foundational" themes. And I bet you'll donate to it. But ask yourself where the money is going?

If you're interested in exposing how Dems take the black vote for granted and offer nothing in return, then there is a wealth of resources, but I'd point you to the Black Agenda Report first.
