Euh, Im Haitian, came here on a boat. Ill never pass for a AA born. I married an AA woman. My kids have never been to Haiti. They identify as AA. They live the same life as kids who's parents are both AA. However, no matter what, we are all black. This whole DOS thing creates divisions amongst black peeps here.

Congrats. That's how you feel. There are many people from the Carribean that don't feel like you and display that when they don't support the AA community when we need them to. The difference with your kids and Kamala Harris is that one of their parents is AA. Neither of hers is.

Don't let him con you. Some people of hispanic mix don't consider themselves black, but most who are mixed with black do consider themselves black. Even some of the ones who can pass for white because they know their heritage.
 
Late last year I was in Jamaica and as far as I know most of them basically said their ancestors were from Africa. One told me that the flag was inspired by that fact. But all of them seemed cool to me. But I have met some Africans in USA that are heavy on that coon shit.

Smart Man. I actually listened to him last night to see where he was coming from because the hate for him in this thread forced me to re-evaluate my position and I agree with everything he said. Forcing the Democrats to put tangibles on the table for African Americans. Never heard any other Politician say anything close to it. What about it is a con? The fact that he is requesting donations and getting them? Info cost money does it not? I must think differently.
