It's crazy they did a tribute in past tense about someone who was still alive
 
Man, I'm sorry to hear this. His speech as the ESPYs should be replayed in the years to come.

I don't know if yall caught this but yesterday when the ESPN panel was giving their pics for the game, that Levy guy said "giving my pic for Stuart for the last time". I dismissed it as it being ESPN's last game for the season, but you never know.

He was already looking bad. So they had the tribute ready. They will more than likely have something else as well.
 
he was the very best at that job and now every other broadcaster imitates his style. He's a fucking legend in that arena. Very sad thing to wake up to today, rest in peace Stuart Scott!

It's starting to hit me too that these tributes they airing were made probably a few weeks ago, even before Christmas. He just died this morning, no way these tributes could have been done all this morning. Call me slow, just realizing that. But maybe Stu gave them word that his time was about up. Some want their obituaries to be done while they are still alive.
 
Rip Stuart. Sad stuff on ESPN this morning. Very touching he said he kept fighting because of his daughters. Cancer has taken so many lives.:smh:
