In a disturbing incident, two St. Louis police officers, Ty Warren and Austin Fraser, were caught on body camera footage walking away from a critically wounded man, Urayoan Rodriguez-Rivera, instead of providing aid
.
Here's a summary of the event:
  • The Incident: On September 10, 2023, officers Warren and Fraser responded to a call about a possible suicide in Forest Park. They found Rodriguez-Rivera with a gunshot wound to the head, still alive but in critical condition.
  • Officers' Actions: Instead of calling for medical assistance or providing first aid, the officers left the scene. Body camera footage captured them joking and laughing after abandoning the victim, according to The Washington Post.
  • Subsequent Actions: They returned to the scene minutes later with another officer, pretending to discover the victim for the first time. The third officer immediately called for an ambulance.
  • Consequences: Both officers were fired from the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department. Their peace officer licenses were also revoked, preventing them from working as law enforcement officers in Missouri.
  • Victim's Fate: Urayoan Rodriguez-Rivera died in the hospital.
Public Reaction and Aftermath:
  • Outrage: The incident sparked outrage and condemnation from the public and other law enforcement officials.
  • Accountability: The actions of Warren and Fraser led to calls for greater police accountability and training.
  • Revoked Licenses: The Missouri Attorney General and the state's Public Safety Director took action, revoking the officers' licenses, ensuring they can no longer be police officers in Missouri, according to.
  • Ongoing Investigation: The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department confirmed that an investigation into the incident is ongoing.

I still hate the fact that people still want to act like because these individuals wear uniforms that by default they're just good guys. So many cops are very horrible, miserable people and have agendas that they exercise while wearing that badge. This is a pure example of the need for police reform. At this point cameras make no sense when law enforcement controls the narrative. RIP to Rodriguez guess he got what he allegedly wanted but we the people did not.

Suicide with no gun, how is any person supposed to believe this? Did anybody check the ballistics against their guns?

Sad decline of our society.
