A collection of surveillance and body-camera footage offers a raw look at the 2018 shooting of Harith Augustus, and at the immediate attempts to shape the story.

The opening of Bill Morrison’s short film “Incident” is silent. Security footage shows a section of a Chicago street on what looks to be an ordinary summer afternoon. A few people walk down the sidewalk, a seagull flies past the camera, a police cruiser idles on the corner. Suddenly the view changes and the sound comes on. The effect is jarring, and the new scene is one that has become all too familiar: police officers have shot and killed a Black civilian.

The cops were wrong to attempt to illegally detain him especially by force. He was cool about to show him his ID and then they tried to get physical. Unfortunately he overreacted because it was a stressful situation and he reacted the wrong way.

If he could do it all over again I know that he would.

With that said, if you attempt to pull out a gun on cops or any armed person you’re getting shot.

Video evidence of Chicago's largest and Oldest Gang doing a killing of a man minding his own business.
Then Lying about it. "He drew his weapon" but it was still holstered.
As far as the constitution goes he had a right to defend himself from them.
Was it smart ? NO !
You cant make this stuff up.
They seem very worried about the body cameras.
If they are that scared to be the Police find a new profession.
They should have been prosecuted.
Locally and Federally as well as civil lawsuits filed.
