Sprint's 4G Android Phone Unveiled & It's a Beast!!!

yo this bitch has two fucking cameras ....wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Yep.. front camera for video conference calls. LMAO @ folk talkin about will stay loyal to the iphone as if they're getting paid to do so. Hell I have a 3gs but fuck the dumb shit I like having the new technology.

Why don't you get the "Moment"??

Android + Physical Keyboard + Bulky = Win For You??

Or are you just looking to get something Heavy Duty when it comes to the specs?

I was thinking the same, but i have big fingers and this 4 row kb wasnt fitting my hands like the touch pro2

I might leave tmobile and got back to sprint after a 10 yr stint for this phone

You know what, these smartphones and slate pc's are going to replace the desktop and game consoles. With this kind of power all you will have to do is hook it up to your TV.

It has an HDMI port so you can plug it into a television

damn this bitch has voice to text for texts and emails

man i need a keyboard but this bitch is insane

sprint need to start putting 4g in the smaller cities too

4G is in more smaller cities than larger cities (ex: boise idaho) but their ramping up to hit bigger cities

man if they can market this bitch well, the iphone could finally have some comp. and i love the iphone. but this shit right here? this shit is fucking ridiculous.

and i'm w/ alex...2 cameras?!?!?!? fucking crazy. $699.

yo how accurate is it?

Out of 100%, it hits the mark about 85-90% of the time. That's not bad. So long as you speak clearly you should be fine. And you can adjust the voice speed if you speak fast.

You may not find colloquial words showing up when you say them though. Google has a server that houses millions of words and phrases. The larger that database gets the better off you'll be with words it will recognize and that data base is getting larger every day.

all the charts i see are major cities, pimp juice

alexw,

nappy is right. most are small test towns(salem,Oregon and boise, idaho) not big cities.
check sprints site.
new york, boston and cali have not been done yet.
the biggest so far are las vegas and a lot of Texas cities.

if u leave AT&T for Sprint u gonna be pissed for 2 yrs.

Pissed that you didn't leave sooner.

Lets see ATT has the iphone and that is it.

Call quality by carrier.

Also keep in mind that when you see Sprint they're counting Nextels iDen network which has been running piss poor for the past few years however it is improving.

If Sprints CDMA network were ranked by itself then they would probably be #1.

Check this link:

http://www.nextel.com/en/stores/popups/4G_coverage_popup.shtml

Atlanta
Baltimore
Austin
Chicago
Dallas
Vegas
Philly
Portland
Seattle

These are the only cities that I'd consider major, the rest make me kind of make me

damn why does sprint have an infatuation for Texas????

damn

show that love to the state of NY

The only thing that I could come up with is that it is flat and maybe makes for an ideal rollout but I'm just assuming.

Bringing a city like NY on too early probably would have been a flop since they hadn't worked out the kinks.

Every time that I've used a 4G connection I've been impressed.

Only reason I don't have one is because I'm not eligible for an overdrive @ the discounted rate yet.

Meanwhile RIM can't even get the release of the new Tour right. Shit got pushed back into early summer. The shit isn't even a new phone. (Just replaces the old Tour's trackball with a trackpad, and has Wifi)

:smh:

This is the reason I didn't use my upgrade. I bought a new BB 8330 off of Craigslist in anticipation of the new Tour. The 8330 is my first BB. I LOVE it, BUT.... it could very well be my last.

Gonna be an interesting summer.

If this thing is priced right then who in their right mind would purchase a Nexus One if they're around the same price?

Looks hot, but the old school in me can't let go of a real keyboard. Fuck. All the hottest phones have completely ditched keyboards. That on screen shit is ok, but not for a chronic text-while-driving-er like me.

By the time the EVO comes out Sprint will be able to give away Nexus One's for free, while all the other carriers it'll be their top phone.

And there is still a chance that they can upgrade the radio on the N1 to 4G.

The virtual keyboards on some of these more recent devices are accurate as hell. so the difference between mistakes on that and a physical kb are negligible.

And you must have missed the part about VOICE TO TEXT. Anywhere you see a text field you can speak and get the same results.

Sprint network is better than at&t and tmobile by far here.. and I know this because I have all of them. I said in another thread that when this phone drops itll be the best phone on the market..no comparison. Im due for my upgrade and when this drops ill be dropping my 3gs and my tp2.

phone service all depends on location.

I just got a Moment, Hero got demoted to my second line. Guess I'll be getting yet another phone in a few months~!:dance:

You know you done fucked up right?
Your about to have divine come stomping his muddy Apple/iPhone boots all through this thread.

:smh:

:lol::lol:

I don't expect him to concur (right away) but I don't think he can deny what this phone is anymore. This phone beats all on the market today.
