don't know about yall, but we still get down like that at every wedding, graduation party, baptism, whatever.

All I gotta say about the club is that women still want to dance, but you gotta ask them. I hate seeing a big crowd of women dancing together, but we do it because we came out to dance and have a good time with yall and you post up with your dudes by the bar.

Also, just because we dance together, don't feel like you gotta get our number or holla at us. We can just dance and leave it at the club. You know what, don't even talk while we're dancing. JUST DANCE! Don't make my throat sore by answering ya damn questions over the loud music. Besides, how would you know you even want to date a woman you meet in the club? All you can really tell is if you want to fuck :dunno: That's all I wanna say about that. :)

I've seen people having full blown conversations out on the middle of the dance floor.

So what DO you do when you're at clubs? Do you turn down every guy that approaches you or asks for a dance?

There was a time when any guy could ask any woman for a dance and she will gladly go (provided she's there alone). Nowadays, you have groups of "bet not say shit to me" women sitting around with scowls on their faces talking about "wut dat bitch got on" and such. Women aren't friendly at clubs anymore.

@ the Salsa clubs I will dance with whoever cuz they have actual dance moves so the chances of me being perverted are less

@ the regular clubs no I don't dance with men cuz they normally walk over dick first looking for a dry hump and I aint bout it ... I dance with my guy friends though cuz that is all in fun ... and occasionally I will dance with a brotha if he wants to actually dance and not dry fuck

I love to dance though, always have so I will be jammin' regardless ... my girls and I are like Tisha Campbell and the other one in House Party when we go out

Edit: I wish more brothas go into dancing properly it could be alot of fun

It's ridiculous. If you really think you might want to see her again outside of the club, then ask her outside or away from the music to talk. Better that way :)

You know good and hell well black people can't get together like that anymore. A black person may step on a nigga's shoe by accident and before he can get the chance to appologize. The nigga will go out to his car and come back and shoot everyone in the place. :lol:Sad, but true.

You're thinking of AJ Johnson, Jody's mom from baby boy. A woman who seemingly never ages.

Ha! Keep dreaming. The guys that you WOULD want to dance with has grown out of going to clubs. It's gotten to the point where you and your homegirls need to get dressed up, buy some liquor, get some CDs and dance at home. Then you'll most definitely won't get "dry humped."

Or have a house party, only invite the people you know, and no one else.

I won the Disco contest back in 78 and 79 getting down like this....memories and good times....remember the slow dance to end the parties back then???????
:yes::yes::yes::yes::yes::yes::yes:

Back then? They were playing slow jams to end the party/club right up until the past 10 years or so, then that shit just stopped.:smh:

It was cool, because if you were with your girl or maybe even someone you met that night, you could chill to a slow jam. Oh that's right, a real man wouldn't dance to a slow jam.

Great thread. Slow dancing is slowly becoming a lost art with the younger generation.

c/o! to the fullest. Ninjas now days always got to find something wrong with shit back then when nothing was wrong. Back then I never heard anyone complain about the dancing on soul train. How many house parties you been too that people formed the soul train line and did your thing. Back then it was all about having fun. No BS Just having fun, acting wild getting your dance on. Now fools 20+ yrs later want to look for shit that's not even there. :(. for real.. we need to ease up on all the negative talk and just enjoy it for what was worth. Pure dancing, busting moves, shaking your ass, wearing wild ass outfits while being seen by millions of black folks while your on tV. Don't front!:dance:

I was wondering how long it was gonna take before someone came in here with the ol predictable "sugar in the tank" comment.

Why does everything have to be gay for some of you cats?

Back then, folks weren't ashamed of having fun out in public. They danced, laughed and lived it up, not giving a fuck about how people saw them. Nowadays, everybody is too cool to have fun. It's like everybody is living in a box and don't dare to step outside of it. I actually feel sorry for fools who spend their money at a club. You spend money to get dressed up, pay money to get and and you buy drinks. After doing all that, the only thing you do is stand your dumb ass up in a corner.
