APPRECIATED LS!

Now any Asphalt 6 &/or 7 apks for android (XperiaIon in particular - had the Play but the screen went bad & they sent me this but love that fucking game!) along with clear, concise methods of applying?

Don't have an SD card but enough phone hd space.

Can it still work as have had no luck with trying to apply the ones I thought I dled.

peace

Jelly Bean added app encryption for paid apps so what you said is starting to become untrue.

google disabled that shit man (due to the complaints from the developers)

as of right now, you can still sideload apps

I need an app for blocking calls/msgs besides call blocker because I don't want to see that the shit is coming or even that they attempted to text/call me.

Mood is foul right now

get a google voice number and link it. I think what you want is possible with that. Im not too certain though. I know it can block calls.

Never mind my low post count....

Guys if you want to tether out the box on your android phone you have to pay the provider. They all have a built in tether app that you never use unless you pay for it. If it's not on your plan and you use the built in tether you'll end up having to pay extra that month.

If you want to tether for free, root your phone and use one of the root tether apps. I prefer Wi-Fi Tether. There are pay options that don't require root, but I've never tried them.

I've been tethering for free for years on my android device. I use a crappy HTC Thunderbolt....I'm jealous of you SGS3 owners!

if you have an unlimited data plan, you wont be charged anything. Sprint offers it, and verizon still has it for its older customers.

Recent apps is similar to a task killer but not the same. What it actually does is kill any background or empty processes of the application and then notify the services of the app that those processes has closed. It's then up to the app to decide on if it's going to stop what it's doing, or continue. If you have a runaway process swiping may not stop it.

To completely stop an app long press on it in recent apps, go into app info and force stop it. A Forced stop is equivalent to a task kill as the app won't start again unless you request it.

yeah, i forgot to mention the long press part. thanks.

Only due to a bug that corrupts the data when the device is rebooted. They have said that it will be turned on again in a future update, but haven't said when. Don't count on being able to do it forever.

I use to use Private SMS & Call for that. You add the numbers you don't wanna see & it'll do the rest. Only bad thing is if you're on a call when the unwanted person calls, the app will disconnect both calls. Here's a link to the app in the Play store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/...=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5zdXBlcmRyb2lkLnNwYyJd

Oh without a doubt. I have no regrets. This phone has SO MANY MORE FEATURES until now it's clear why Apple was suing Samsung... I would be afraid too. Lol!!!

Yep. T-Mobile told me the same. I'm going to get rid of my Cable isp if this work out. I have the truly unlimited plan and it's 110 /mo. Anyone disagree?

Yup like the other guys said, try Private SMS & call.
Also coco, you can wait until jelly bean comes out.
Jelly Bean has that feature to block specific numbers or a range of different numbers.

Ok, so I have a question I was really shame to ask, but I said I'm human and don't pretend to know everything and you guys have told me soo much in here.

Yes I was an android user before and I didn't know it then either, so....What's WIDGET???? :dunno: And I don't mind the insults because I will take them from everyone except one particular faggot.

Edit: And no I did not google.

Think of widgets as icons on your phone that show real time data if you want it to. The best example of a widget is the HTC Clock and weather widget:

HTC-Hero-iPhone200+(2).png

Since widgets are real time you can get up to date info from them. For example I use my phone for work so I have a widget that shows my daily schedule. When I go to it it automatically updates based on what time it is. One thing to make note of. Since widgets update themselves when you go to them they can be a battery drain so don't get nuts with them. :-)

Does that help or make sense?

It appears to make sense and both of you posted them at the same time. And AGAIN THANKS!!!!!

Okay. I personally love Itunes, specifically for the Pod-Cast! Also, considering I'm always scheduling things on my Phones Calendar(HTC EVO) it would be nice to be able to do that through the computer and Vice-versa!

Right Now:

1) Tremendous Battery Life
2) Total integration w/ computer(MacBook Pro)
3) Never owning a non-base Android phone

Is making me lean more towards an Iphone.

If you have an Evo, you can sync your calendar on your phone and PC. Use Google calendar sync on your PC. It will sync your phone calendar with your PC calendar. And vice versa.

How come when someone text me a pic instead of the pic automatically showing all I get is a text and a download box that I have to click to download. Itll say downloading for a few then it changes back to download and my pic still hasnt showed yet sometimes ill have to press download 3 or 4 times then It'll randomly show the picture later on in the day whenever it feels like it, is there a way for the pic to show up instantly instead of me having to do all the extra stuff

I have this protective shield and it's great.

Dont get me wrong I like the S3 way more than my 4s but their things I hate as well and that goes for both phone. And yes the S3 has more features and all that and if Samsung knows it and their only other major competition is Apple why do they keep lowering the price on the S3?? If the product is that good I see no reason to lower the price the product speaks for itself. Im tired of all the apple/s3 threads buy what u like, im just playing devils advocate

Yes right now, the Galaxy S3 is running android version # 4.0.4 or also known as Ice Cream Sandwich. Version 4.1 is nicknamed Jelly Bean. Jelly Bean is a minor update but it brings a few nice features/touches. It will improve the Galaxy S3's performance & make everything seem buttery smooth. Also it brings an app similar to Apples Siri, called Google now/Google voice. The international GS3 version is getting the update this week, so the US versions won't be that far behind. Check these vids.

You don't have to be rooted, you can download a app called "FOXFI" that allows you to use your phone as a hotspot for free.

Best Buy just dropped the SIII to 149.99

$149 !! The cheapest I've seen this phone in the UK is £308 = $497

P.S Where can I get some ringtones for this phone?

I'm not familiar with sites to download ringtones. I personally make my own & place them in the media\audio folder on my phone. There are apps you can download that'll allow you to take any mp3 on your phone & chop them up so that you have the part you want & save it as a ringtone.
