had my g-box since xmas (props to spider for dropping that knowledge on android boxes)
a little buggy at times, but dope once you learn your way around it

I got the mygica atv520 which is also an Android box but very similar to this one. Hopefully the wifi is better than the atv520 as it was straight garbage out the box (had to download another OS to install on top of it to fix). The Google play store with these boxes is a thing of beauty. Also an app you might want to look for is RemoteIME. I discovered this yesterday when the batteries in my remote for my device died and I researched trying to find a way to control the device remotely. Took some time getting use to but it works great controlling the box from your phone.

Yeah...I got the xbmc programs for the laptop and tablet.
When I'm lazy, I just find something on the laptop and hook it up with the hdmi cable for the full experience. Looks flawless too
really, Okayy, I'm going to do a search on this one now. When I'm board at work I can fire up my personal laptop or tablet and watch. Hey does the tablet have to be jail broken?

Dude, I mentioned PC use in the other thread about the FireTv. Give xbmc a try and you will see that you won't be missing anything if you cut the cable.

There is an easy way to add repositories to it through XBMC hub. You can go to www.xbmchub.com and follow the instructions there. It will show you how to connect via the internet and download the repositories directly onto your MX2. I finally did it last week and have about 30 different movie repositories, far more than you will ever need.
Icefilms normally does well in 720p. I can normally watch shows 30-45 minutes after airing. Buffering will depend upon your connection as well as the host you select. As you gain more experience with it, you will get a sense of which hosts are the fastest (ex. mightyupload or filenuke) I'm hardwired in so I normally get a pretty good connection, I'm not sure how it does with wireless, maybe someone else can speak on that.
You don't have to mess around with it too much to fix channels and such. XBMC hub is really good about coming up with fixes for stuff. They have a hub maintenance tool that will fix specific problems that come up.
When exactly does it crash? When you start XBMC? When you start a specific addon? Or when you start a stream? Each one could be a different problem. Try uninstalling XBMC and reinstalling.
You pretty much have the most popular ones. All others are mostly niches. But I also use ESPN Video for watching highlights, ESPN 3 for watching other sports like track and field, NBA video, NFL and NFL teams (two different addons), Movie4k, youtube, Documentary.net
Just give them all a try and keep the ones you like.
As for HD content. Not everything on XBMC is in HD. It's one of the biggest misconceptions that people make when jumping into this. Some shows weren't even filmed in HD. Seinfeld is about 20 years old. You probably won't see an episode in 1080. But, there should be a section in all of the movie addons (icefilms, 1channel, mashup, etc) that has HD only content. If you only want to watch movies and shows in HD I suggest sticking to those sections. Raid 2 is available for streaming right now. But it is a cam version. If you can tolerate a dark, out of focus movie with people smacking in the background go for it. But when the HD version comes out it will be listed.
Here is a list of video quality that is being streamed on XBMC.
From best to least:
True HD - Mostly found in Mashup. Up to 1080
HD - Mostly found on other addons. Up to 720
DVD - Good quality. Sometimes it seems like it is 720
Webrip - Ripped from an online streaming content provider like Netflix. Similar quality to DVD
TS - Or Telesync. Basically an HD camcorder while the audio is sync from a clean source.
Cam - Hand held camcorder in a movie theater.
Yes and yes. Live steams. A lot of past fights can be streamed also.
Try disabling it and re-enabling the addon. Make sure it is updated (in the addon settings). If that doesn't work then the addon could be broken. You will have to wait on the developers to fix it.

I was able to add the XMBC adult video repository. However, as soon as I try to add the video add on, I have a problem.
1) I go to GET ADDONS
2) I select the XMBC Adult Add on (its enabled)
3) The "VIDEO ADD ON" is not there. In fact, nothing is there to choose from. Its completely blank
I know once i click Video add on, I should see Video devil there and i can select it and press install

Try the superrepo adult repo...
Install it as a zip file under addons, then go to get addons, select the superrepo repo and go to video add ons.

Thank you everyone for all the info yo have provided. I have another question. I have watched about 3 movies on the Prime Wire channel and I see the same problem with each one. The movie does not take up the whole screen.
Large black area on top and a large black area on the bottom. Is there any way to maximize the video so that it takes up the whole screen?
