Mel gone.
Man Boy sees the whole field.
Andre just couldn't let it go. He was on his tough guy shit and yea.
Franklin idk about doing what he did but I understand why he did what he did
He can't have hella people knowing and not especially now. This shit is a COLD game and he told him he was coming back cause of bravado just say you're leaving and Franklin lets you go.

Reed's ex ruined the most important thing in his life cause it wasn't what she liked or wanted to do for her own reasons and then wanted him to go off and be ok with her destroying everything he was working for cause she knows what's best lol

Boy i tell ya

Franklin had to do that Andre crossed the line breaking into his house and still talking shit If franklin didn't do it Reed would have done it somehow because of his bitch ass wife exposing everybody

That shit made my night

I got a feeling Franklin's father told him to clap Andre and stage it like that It kind of makes sense, only if the cracka ass cop Andre gave the info to lets it go he don't want no smoke with the CIA so he probably will

Question: When they find Andre (the cop) will they believe that he committed Suicide (possibly because of being suspended and Mel's crack addiction) or will they think he was Murdered (Mel thinks that Franklin killed her father)?

I think the cac cop Andre showed the CIA info to will think he was killed but won't say anything until next season or seasons, and Mel might think it but she on that shit so Franklin would be able to change her mind easily after he clapped Andre I was praying she didn't walk in

Bag, you have me thinking about the Officer Herb "Nix" Nixon (the one Andre showed the CIA info too), you're probably right about him thinking that Andre was killed, but will he think Franklin or the CIA?

So I'm guessing by the season's end we're gonna see Mel go full strawberry. That's gonna be rough yet realistic. Think of all the hood niggas that's wanted a shot at "pretty girl Mel", now her cop Dad is gone and she can be all yours for just a few free rocks. Tragic.

Also, this week's episode is pretty poignant in how it highlights the Federal government's involvement with flooding the black community in CA with cocaine starting the crack epidemic, meanwhile in real life Johnson & Johnson just got hit with a half a billion dollar judgement for their role in the opioid epidemic in 1 state.

"this was cool and all, but you gone have to come off that necklace now"

felt that shit, you cant be nice to junkies, learned that as a youth.
Word they’ll cop from you all day then soon as you leave the spot break in that bitch and steal everything then go sell it to the next nigga for some rock.

So damn glad that super coon Andre is dead. Leon is going to end up in the outside and ManBoy is going to take his place. He’s the only one calm and playing the game the way it’s supposed to played. Reed is going to kill his girlfriend he has to.

I know we all love the Wire but we gotta admit Snowfall is creeping on the crown. A couple more seasons like this and it’s a legitimate argument. The Wire covered the game piece by piece.... like how the first season was in the hood then they went into the docks then politics etc.

Snowfall has managed to cover every aspect of the game simultaneously.

By the way ... please don’t mention Power. It’s really not a comparison at this point at all.

Franklin's dad "Mr. Paid In Full" as I call him, has been giving him some great advice and insight lately. He's been proving himself valuable so far.

They got a long way to go to take the crown from The Wire.

Far from it. Leon is Franklin boy from day one. Not possible. He not passing up his boy for no ManBoy/money. He's always still grounded.

You heard Franklin say in the preview “I built this and I ain’t gonna let you destroy it”.

Wire only had 5 seasons bruh. Snowfall in season 3. Basically halfway. Let’s be real and give props.
I love Snowfall but The Wire had so many more layers and details.

The character development was superb and had so much depth on that show.

I'll go out on a limb and say not one character on Snowfall has the depth of even a small roll player like Bubbles had.

You know how crackheads do...she was peeping and saw Franklin kill her father... remember..she was headed home..brah

Yeah and he ain't gonna diss his boy at the same time. ManBoy is a meal ticket for him. A way for him to move his weight. But he won't make him in command of anything. That's not how you'd deal with one of your soldiers. You may demote him (Leon) but he wouldn't give ManBoy power in his org. Think...

He'd be shooting himself in the foot. ManBoy would take him out once he learned his way around. He's just a paycheck to him

there will be a season 4.

i was concerned about singleton passing, the show losing its way, and cancellation after season 3. but based on the last few ep's...it's the opposite. things are picking up. each ep is pretty tense, good action. hope the ratings reflect that. the wire was appreciated by us, but not the general public (ratings), and the series got shorted on that last season 5 because of it.

we won't know how it compares to the wire until the entire series has it's run. the wire had the advantage of being on hbo - it could be fully raw, no commercials, etc

andre...how is the lapd investigators not going to see this as a homicide? andre was shot from the back/side? - wouldn't they do some basic investigation on what angle the bullet was fired from, etc?

that white cop may eventually see the light, try to expose the whole operation first to the lapd and then to the general public, with bad results. he's the only one who has seen the file so he's going to be a key figure going forward

the daughter mel - she may not have seen the killing, but the cop may tell her that andre committed suicide because he was on suspension and franklin, as a drug dealer, was responsible for that...she was looking lost eyed in the preview for next week's ep as she was saying 'franklin killed my father'...wild card.

anyway, now is the beginning of everything unraveling - it's about 1984-5. those of us who were in la at the time know that this is when the crackheads started getting out of control, crips/bloods/sa's started getting the dough to get access to high powered weapons, and the lapd started going to war with the gangs, led by the paramilitary tip of the spear, darryl gates. it was a war on the streets by the mid 80's. with civilians caught in the middle, and an entire generation ravaged.

great series
