I met a gang of cats claiming east Oakland out there. I don't even think they know there's a west or north Oakland , they only know east because of rap. There are a lot of bay wannabes in kc though I'm sure you've seen and heard them talk.

My partna has a pool & when we have pool parties, bitches get pushed in the pool...they already know what time it is.

i think it started in the early 90's when e-40 & the click 1st came out,,, 40 was independent & linked up with one of our local record stores (7th Heaven) & was moving a lot of units out of kc, when most people in other states hadn't even heard of the click yet
then in the mid 90's,,, a local kc rapper named rich the factor, went out to the bay to sign & record with san quinn & messy marv,,, rich kinda intro'd those kats to hood dudes in kc, & would bring them here to perform,,, then ya'll rappers started doing appearances on our local rappers albums
the whole bay scene kinda just snow balled in kc from there,,, at one point i heard kats like mac dre & messy were actually moving more units in kc, than out in the bay,,, plus bay kats hustled harder than kc rappers,,, our artist could never gain any real momentum (outside of tech n9ne)

I TOTALLY agree with everything you said. To each their own. I'm not downing them at all, just not my cup of tea nor are they in any of the "circles" I encounter. I don't think I've encountered a man comfortable enough to have his arm around my neck, saying bitches in my presence. I know dudes call women bitches, however, they don't do it in my presence.
