Everytime I saw fights at a pool party it was because:

a.)The one getting thrown in got scratched up on the concrete when a bunch of dudes grabbed him and he fought back.
b.) Dude comes in not dressed for a pool party and gets thrown in. (could have been coming from/going to work and stopped through.)
c.) They try to throw dude in, lands SHORT and hits the side of the pool or lands awkwardly in the water.
