Samsung is giving me 425 for it towards the cost of the note 8. They sent me an email apologizing for fucking up the note 7. So to make things right they offered me and other note 7 owners 425 to trade in there phones to get the note 8. If you didn't own a note 7 the most you can get is 200 for the s6

I'm not a loyalist but one doesn't have an S pen, one does have an S pen. One is 6.0", one is 6.3". One has 4gb of ram, one has 6gb of ram. One doesn't have expandable storage, one has expandable storage.

I actually got a email from Samsung offering me the discount on the Note 8 because I was a Note 7 owner.
I'm not a Sammy loyalist but I really like the Note series, I started with the Note 4, I had (2) Note 7's and did not have a problem with either one but they threatened to brick them so I switched over to the LG V20.
I still have my last Note 7 in the box.
Shit in that case you can get a real good discount on the Note 8. Trade dat 7 in Ruff.
Aside from the design, what are the major changes from the first one? Oreo really improves the battery life of the first, so that can't be a reason to upgrade. I'll stick with my XL.

I used to miss having storage expansion. But when you have a 128gb phone, what's the point?
Still no where near comparable to an iPhone.
Note 8 is a better phone, in terms of features, but I wouldn't call a pixel an iPhone.

I ordered mine yesterday, i'm on the Verizon edge plan where when I've paid my device half way off I can upgrade. I have the IPhone 7 Plus now and was supposed to pay $150 to get to that half off point, but I guess there was a glitch in the matrix because they said they are only charging me the $32 upgrade fee once the phone is shipped. I may call them and straighten it out tho because I don't wanna get a email/text on the 14th of September, shipping date, telling me my order was cancelled because of their mistake

it makes sense because if you trade your phone from YOUR CARRIER to SAMSUNG, SAMSUNG now has your phone that belonged to YOUR CARRIER. YOUR CARRIER was gonna take that phone and resale it but if you traded it in to SAMSUNG then YOUR CARRIER would be fucked
Their phones exploded because they tried to build out their own platform with Tizen resulting in this obvious sabotage. This gave Chinese phones with cheaper prices with U.S. spyware/Android the opportunity to expand market share.

I have 384 gigs of space on my phone. I need that space. I travel alot and use my phone as my main shooter with a gimble to shoot in 4k.
I also use that as my main screen for my Mavic drone and I dual record 4k video from the drones SD card as well as my phone.
So while you say online storage is a thing that trumps onboard storage, it really doesn't. You don't use your phone like I do.
