Samsung Nexus Prime Specs. Phone and Android 4.0 to be Revealed Next Week.

http://www.digicamhelp.com/camera-features/camera-parts/megapixels/

"Digital cameras capture images as pixel elements, known as pixels. Simply put, a megapixel is equal to one million pixels.

Digital images are made up of thousands of these tiny, tile-like picture elements. The more pixels, the higher the image resolution.

Resolution relates primarily to print size and the amount of detail an image has when viewed on a computer monitor at 100%.
Elements of picture quality

The number of megapixels is only one aspect relating to the quality of a camera, or the actual quality of a photo it is capable of producing. Factors such as camera sensor and processor, and the optical quality of a lens, play equally important roles"

I have to explain this every time. It's like it never sticks to any of these dudes brains.

That shit aint shit if it aint got

Google delaying Nexus Prime/ICS because of Apple patents?

Update: He’s wrong. We’ve heard from an impeccable source that Google plans to have invites out “in the next day or so” and there is no patent delay.
We reported earlier that Google and Samsung were delaying the release of the new Nexus Prime phone and Android 4.0 “Ice cream Sandwich” out of respect for the passing of Steve Jobs.
“We believe this is not the right time to announce a new product as the world expresses tribute to Steve Jobs’s passing,” the companies said.
But according to often (but not always) correct blogger Eldar Murtazin, there are patent issues at hand which need to be addressed before the devices and OS ship. Specifically, Google is slicing out features which may be subject to Apple’s Patents…

Good, I might check it out before deciding on a phone. Is At&t getting this on Nov 3 and will it be LTE?

Now you see how civilized iphone users are in this thread:yes:

I heard that the Nexus Prime will be LTE in Canada, so i'm assuming that it will be the same for AT&T.
Most of the major companies are launching their flagship Android phones over the next 2-4 weeks, so I would wait to see what they're offering. Even Nokia is launching their Windows 7 phone soon.

Samsung confirms Ice Cream Sandwich event on October 19
http://www.engadget.com/2011/10/13/samsung-confirms-ice-cream-sandwich-event-on-october-19/
Just like we'd heard, we'll be getting our first taste of Ice Cream Sandwich next week, on October 19th to be precise. Of course we've already had a whiff of what it looks like in a video, and sampling the new Music and Google+ apps gave us another good look. But now we're set to see it for real, and if all goes well we might just get some new hardware out of the deal, too. Will this be the day the Nexus Prime makes us think that flat smartphones are... well... square? We'll be there live to let you know as it happens.

The event takes place 10:00am HKT, which is conveniently 10:00pm EST on October 18th. A primetime liveblog and gadget unveiling? Can't wait.

Nice, I'll check it out. I'll even hold off on getting the Iphone 4s.

Ok, I'll get this one until the new Iphone comes out. I need something fast.
