I haven't looked online like XDA or something like Reddit to see if others complained.
Really pissed me off. I've never seen shit so deep discounted. I had the car charger, I didn't need, $2. My highest priced ticket item was the tablet, was like $79, normally $349. Had $50 cases for $8. Really wish I took screenshots. But it had to be a cart error.
Its basically to keep scratches off the phone. It's not gonna protect the screen from drops.
I did the pre order with Best Buy and still don't have mine.
They're on back order on VZW. Mine doesn't ship till 9/10.
I understand that but it's still low quality compared to a screen protector like ClearShield or ArmorSuit

I'm gettin' da 10+. All Note 10's on VZW are currently available for pre order. They won't have 5G widely available not time soon theaux so they said da Note+ 5G is pointless currently.
The 5g gonna be real spotty. Certain cities and certain parts in the cities will have. But it will be awhile before its alot of coverage for 5g

I've done a Safe Mode boot, Wiped Cache and reset settings. They want me to do a factory reset. But I know this isn't software.
I stated earlier in the thread, there were times I had my thumb hovering over the screen, maybe browsing the web, get distracted and look at the TV or something, look back at the phone because I felt a slight series of vibrations. My thumb was at least half inch from the screen, not touching it at all, and it read my thumb while screen off and says No Match after 5 entries, then have to enter PIN to get back in the phone. I never even touched the screen.
My phone was set to Auto Restart last night which is what it did and woke up to this....
On the phone still with them but just venting.
They're telling me unfortunately they can't send me a new device ahead of an exchange. I have to order a new one, pay $1100 and cancel the original order, return the device and they will still honor my credit.
I said oh so you want me go online and complain about your flagship device to all the blogs that your fingerprint sensor failed and you want me to spend another $1100 to buy a new one and I have to mail this back to you. All on my own dime?
Update: going to a Samsung repair store tomorrow to repair it. Spoke to the local place on the phone, told me if they need to replace the screen where the sensor is, that's a simple fix and should take under two hours.
Samsung warranty is I can return the phone within 15 days and buy the other ahead of time but I have until the 4th to do so. I can't be without a phone. This is crazy. So will see if this is a simple swap out of parts and just faulty hardware.
Wonder if it's a freak thing or others will start popping up with the issue online.

Did you try resetting your phone. I mean a factory reset. Happened to me after about two days of having my phone. Wasn't used to holding my finger on the sensor until it actually opened and I think I locked up the under glass sensor. Did a factory reset and everything is fine now.
Was afraid to cause it will take me like two days to re-set shit back up. But maybe I may just do that.

Failing as in the sensor does not work at all anymore or just a reboot or something fixed it?
I genuinely have a hardware issue. Every lock screen wake up, it shows an error that the fingerprint sensor is not responding.
I can't factory reset it as of yet, I have an event to go to in a few hours and need to prep for that so can't be messing with my phone for just a fingerprint. I'll live.

Same exact message I was getting. I thought it was saying to just reset the phone so I did and it still didn't work the next day so I did a factory reset and it works fine now. Yes but they don't restore all your log ins to everything. I still have to add each Gmail acct. I have 8. I'm back up. Settings aint 100% how I had them

Did the factory wipe, working like normal again. Just setting things up which will take a day or so. Lost my Signal messages for the past week, forgot to manually back it up. There's no way to recover that...

That is why I stress just holding your finger on the sensor until the phone unlocks! That's the only thing that I was doing differently. On my note 4 and s8+ I could basically just tap the fingerprint sensor and they would open asap. On this under screen joint it takes a second and I was getting error messages about holding down harder and longer then it just died completely. The cause had to be me being accustomed to the older model sensors. I haven't had any problems since I hold the sensor until it opens and stopped being hardheaded.
