She was getting abused and I’m sure she leaned on him to heal and he was there. So yeah it sucks he was battling demons but she wasn’t the cause of that. I think the misconception is he became a alcoholic because of her but he was before as a child.

I grew up with both dudes but didn't know Claudette.
I never knew he had a drinking problem at 10 this is mos def news to me.
I am not sure where that narrative came from I never saw anything that would leave me to believe he was drinking like that in HS.

It’s coming out of Claudette’s mouth I think I don’t want to speak ill of him but I think he’s admitted his issues but she accused him of being a alcoholic in high school and abuser. He battled his demons hopefully the broth is resting now.
