RIP definitely a part of my childhood. He was an excellent anchor man. It was really no reason for him to not be on the air either. In that profession black folk are cast aside when they are still very capable. RIP he the consumate professional.
RIP..

I remember him having a stint down here in New Orleans.

He was working in New Orleans from 2015-2018 then went to work in Maryland till the present

RIP Sir

It's wild. I'm torn between wanting yo live a long life and seeing everything and everyone I remember disappear like the old dude on The Green Mile.

Imagine me being in my 90s and saying a line from Coming to America and no one gets that but me. That'll be a sad fucking day

That’s the curse of a long life. My grandmother on my mother side lived a long life and my father lived to be 10 days short of 90 and I remember both of them talking about how their friends were all dead. My grandmother lived to almost 100 and I remember her saying that all her friends were dead and all her family members that she grew up with was dead; and even though there was friends and family around much younger than her she consider herself all alone and would often say “lord what are you waiting on? When are you going to take me?”
