much respect. i remember watching fred seems like some of everywhere lol. the middle 90s braves teams on tbs. a little on cnn and sportscenter . was a great sports guy and anchorman. rest in peace sir

R.I.P. to my man Fred Hickman.
When I first moved to Atlanta, Sports Tonight on CNN was the go to channel for sports.
Fred Hickman, Nick Charles and Vince Cellini were young and cool as hell at that point in time.
Stu Klitenic was doing Sports on Channel 2, and Monica Kaufman was that chick doing news at WSB (I think).
I had just got to Atlanta the same year UGA won the National Title. What a good time to be in the A.
I had never seen so many fine ass girls in one place in my entire life.
The good times. I'm sure the young Kats now feel the same way. R.I.P. Fred Hickman
