Sidney Poitier was a great one. True Trailblazer. I grew up on the movies he did was Bill Cosby, Uptown Saturday night, let's do it again and a piece of the action, all three he directed
There was probably no more iconic moments in cinema history than this Moment below
He was a true legend. I'm about to see if I can find the 1973 movie A Warm December.

Sidney Poitier was:
Cool.
(Still ain't NOBODY else managed to pull off a look this cool).
Strong.
Intelligent.
Defiant.
Respected.
Beloved.
Mr. Poitier was all of those things and more importantly, he inspired Black men to be all those things as well. As a little kid watching, "Let's Do It Again" on the big screen, I was truly motivated to want to be like him. A talented Black man who touched the world around him and made the world a better place for us all to be in.
RIP sir.

I honestly have tears in my eyes as I'm saying this to my talk-to-text. Rarely do the feelings of our mortality become more palpable then when the legends we watched growing up pass
Yeah, I know we all got to go. As one Vietnam vet told me once before, no one leaves this rock alive, of that I am assured
Still, when the seemingly Bulletproof Legends that made it possible for the black creatives like me to believe they can achieve my voice cracks as I'm trying to type this
