Here's my problem with trading mad prospects for Halladay: Ibanez is 37 and you figure he can't keep that pace up forever, the big three (Howard, Utley, J-Roll) are all in their early 30s, so you've got to start getting the farm kids ready to take their spots when that time comes and still be competitive. I know it's the NL East, but I think trading Marson, Donald, or even JMJ is a stretch.

With Halladay in 3 or 4 years we could be talking about the dynasty in philadelphia sports and sounds a lot better than a bunch of prospects who we have no clue what they will do. How long have we heard Carasco is untouchable and he still has not come up yet.
