Just ordered my first Mac Book Pro .. yay!!! I got a new last generation pro from my campus bookstore for a good price (for a MAC)

spending all day nursing a hang over? uncool

I need more time in a day

How does one balance history, compassion, and ethnocentric perspectives without becoming a racist, without becoming that which you despise? I have no idea.

To me, you just have to keep in mind if you don't learn from history, you're doomed to repeat it. I mean if people don't think something like the Holocaust or the Berlin Conference couldn't happen again, they're lying to themselves. Lot more evil minds now than there were back in the day.

I don't think you can.

I do however bask in all this ignorance just to remind me of all the work I need to do for myself and those around me.

Your ignore list should get longer. Time reveals much to us. Ethnic views, perspectives on life, political views, sexual preferences and based upon what we read and experience. We warm to those who share our interest, beliefs and views. Others we handle differently, its human nature.

Talk about ignore list I'm up to around 70 with no regrets. The people there earned it.

As for balance I don't think its necessary. Just be true to yourself. You can't please everyone because so many people don't even know themselves.

'I am Number 4' was a random pick for me and my girl. I never seen a trailer or anything. Just went to the movies, picked out whatever movie was playing and watched it.

It was dope to me but then again that may be just because all of the other random flicks in the past were "chick flicks":lol:
