Damn, Z is still out. Travis just got hurt and is out, and now Ed is out. What the fuck? Damn, when it rains it pours. I hope this is a major blessing in disguise for Carolina Basketball. I'm talking a 3 peat as National Champions over the next few years kind of blessing. This shit is just crazy right now. Go Heels, but damn, shit is bad right now. I hope we can end on a good note this year, but time is running out. We better get shit together over the summer and come out kicking ass next year...

Hell, I didn't have to work today(my boss is in colorado skiing, he goes 3 times a year rich mofo could give me a raise:lol:) and I did a presentation to the pre k classes at my sons school this morning about dental hygiene and gave out toothbrushes so I deserve an early drink today. Big ups to elementary teachers cuz they deal with some shit with other folks children:yes:

I just got word from my sister that my uncle Henry passed away last night. I'm sitting here stunned.

He had just started going thru dialysis treatments. I had just seen him at Christmas as he and my aunt Irene had come over to my house for the family dinner.

My uncle was 85. He and my aunt Irene had been together for 65 years.

I don't care what the fuck they say about black men ain't supposed to cry. I'm gonna be shedding some tears today for my uncle. He was a big influence in my childhood.

To those who soon enough make rude statements at my time of mourning, keep them to yourself. That's all I ask.

Aw man, sorry about that GP. God bless you and your family. I hope you all can get through this both as individuals, and as a family. Love and support each other as much as you can and always remember to (try to) keep your head up. Cry those tears brotha, fuck what anyone else says. If you need to cry it out for a while, go ahead and do that. After that, you can go on to the next stage of grieving, paying homage, and remembering your uncle...

My condolences to you and your family on the loss of your uncle. The person who says that Black Men do not cry is not a man himself and obviously never had such a positive individual in their life such as your uncle was in your life. The fact that he was with your aunt for 65 years is a testament itself in the love he had for your aunt and the fortitude to remain together for so long.

Again, my condolences, and do not be afraid to shed those tears, it is an expression of the love and respect you have for him and expression of what he has done and meant to you...

Thanks PC, but I think my post confused you. I was giving a shout to GP's uncle. GP wrote about losing his uncle last night and I was just giving him some encouraging words and I gave his uncle and R.I.P shout. I edited my post though to reflect that... I had some family issues a couple months ago though. I had a cousin who had a brain tumor, but she's had it removed and is better now. I also had an uncle who was in the hospital. I posted some stuff about it, but again that wasn't the case this time...

Texas got too many good rivalry games to leave the Big 12. . . .The Big 10 aint even that good of a conference anymore, I dont see that move making any sense on Texas end. That UT vs OU game every year is crazy. But damn near every game in the Big 12 is a rivalry game. . .Texas vs Texas Tech, Texas vs Texas A&M, Texas vs Nebraska. . . .why leave all that for the Big 10.


If anybody should leave it should be Iowa State. . . .that makes more sense as far as location. And they should let TCU in the Big 12​

I did the samething at blockbuster. pulled up in the handicap, jumped out the ride, put the movies in the drop box. head back to the car and the door was locked. :smh:
