I think the dude is getting a hand job from his wife in one of those jackson hewlett commercials. guy is sitting on the couch he has the big refund check across his lap his wife is leaning on his shoulder dude looks under the check and begins to smile. What else could be going on? 
I'm sitting here writing out checks for my bills. This shit sucks. Damn, in addition to all the real shit I'd like to do/have this year (e.g. health, love, happiness, etc.), I gotta get some more money. My accounts need some big time deposits from this point on. Oh, and another thing, the glue on the the back on envelopes is disgusting. Damn, you'd think by 2010 they'd be able to make that shit taste better...

Got my W-2s this weekend. I got back eleven grand last year. Hoping to get around that much this year.
Gonna use part of that and get me a 40-inch big screen. Maybe even a home theater setup.
Oh, and Saturday is my 36th birthday. Also is Bob Marley's birthday. So I will be jammin this Super Bowl weekend.

I hear you, (don't know if you went to college or not, I'm not insulting you) if you did remember all the papers you had to write. Remeber the bibliography we had to attach, remember MLA formatting? Professor's went out of their way to instill in your mind you must provide sources so your work can be duplicated by peers. Or in posting information, it must be listed to back up what you are saying. Otherwise anyone can make something up, that is one thing that has always stuck with me. Even if you look in the Feb issue or any issue of The New England Journal of Medicine, doctor's and scientist's who are established and well know by their peers. Still list their sources about their research and findings. I'm not putting anyone down, but by how someone posts you can tell alot about them as far as schooling and so forth.Hypothetically speaking, say I turned in a paper and got a B instead of an A. And if I asked my professor why , he tells me he dropped a letter grade because I did not list my sources. Imagine me telling him to look it up. He or she would probably give me an F.
I hate unorganized and undisciplined people....

A healthy self-esteem seems to be rare these days... helps keeps my profession alive.
The real housewives of orange county are much more dysfunctional, distasteful, and delusional than Atlanta...

Before I joined the army, I always got a refund. Then when I joined, they weren't taking enough taxes out of my pay. Two straight years I had to pay the feds back come tax time.
Since then, I have my employer take an extra $100 bucks out of my paycheck just for taxes. I haven't had to pay the feds or the state of Maryland anything since.
Also, I claim my cell phone bill, monthly commuter train tickets, and any work clothes purchases as business expenses. So I get back a nice chunk of change.
