Congrats Hotmixx! I don't smoke so I guess it's a very hard thing to do. If it is as hard as giving up sugar I feel your pain. I just wish my mother had the will power you have.

Thanx CT, it really wasn't as hard as people say it is. One of my co-workers(who is Korean)said that people who can quit smoking cigarettes cold turkey are revered in Korea because they have stronger will power than the average man and now he is like in awe of me and jealous as hell at the same time cuz he still smokin a pack a day.
When I first started to quit he would do shit like slide a cigarette under my nose and I would be like "You muthafucka"
but I didn't give in
Word. I know a few people who quit smoking (cold turkey). I was proud of them for that. Congrats to you for doing the same. How long did you smoke before quitting? I've never smoked cigarettes in my life. I have smoked weed, but that is/was never really my thing either. If anything I'll have some drinks and chill out, but smoking isn't for me in general. Anyway, stick with it one day at a time...
I smoked about 7 years. And thanx for the encouragement but to tell you the truth I don't even crave them anymore.

It was a clean break. I did eat more the first 3 or 4 days but now I'm actually eating less than I did before. Go figure. Today all I had was a funkmeister from moe's at lunch and didn't crave anything else. Do you have a moe's where you live. It' kinda like the subway for mexican food or a cheaper version of Swanky's. But anyway I'm even drinking less. I'm drinking crown and coke tonight which you can always tell when I'm drinking cuz I get more active on the board, other than that I'm lurkin
