I was using channel surfing to catch the games during the outage - it was a life saver, but need to get used to watching on the laptop - LOL. Seriously considering deeply cutting back on the cable (I hardly am home to watch and do not even utilize the useless movie channels).

I love Christmas music, but it gets to be overkill hearing the same stuff over and over for almost 1 1/2 months. I like to listening to different renditions. I hate that tomorrow (Nov 1st) all of the Xmas decorations will already be out. Can't we enjoy Fall for a while longer? What about Thanksgiving? :smh:

I just bought some Christmas decorations yesterday cause they were cheap. I will be creating my Christmas playlist all month.



I however will not be putting up decorations or playing music until the day after Thanksgiving.







If I can get up from the itis.

I can't believe the number of women I know who are getting married and/or having babies...I'm happy for them, but also a little envious too. Not so much about having babies (cause I'm afraid of having children), but the other parts...

Right now, all I can do is enjoy life and the blessings that God has put in my life: a great job, good friends and good health :)

Don't you hate when you become a bit envious of what others have got?!? It makes you forget all that God has done for you and what you should be happy about. I know a lot of people say you shouldn't worry about what others have, but, damn it, I'll admit it: sometimes I do want for what others have. But, I know that, on the outside, things can look quite different than they do on the inside, as well.

I wish I had a close friend, though, to talk to all of this with...most of my close friends are married now and don't have the same amount of time to talk...and, I can't talk about it to a man cause he's either going to think I want to marry him (lol) or that I'm desperate. And, maybe, in some ways, it is desperation...

And, I can't put it on my fitness blog cause people I know read that and I don't want them knowing how many intimate thoughts I'm having about THIS. Like, lately, it's been kind of consuming me...and that isn't healthy at all :smh:

I need a drink...

This shit bothers me..... and soon as I was thinking all women ain't bitches too.

Did I mention she's pregnant?! Baby's due Dec. 26th.

And he works every piece of overtime he can get.

And he's in school full time.

So...is there a reason why chick kicked him out? I mean is there a good reason? Not sticking up for her but maybe she felt neglected...though she is wrong for kicking that man out of a house where it seems like she doesn't pay a bill...

...maybe if you got all the facts you could be that impartial voice that they need to listen to...





Jo, I know people that are in your position, (with some changes), and I totally understand where you are coming from. Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to not have children, (or at least later than what I did), but when I think about it I wouldn't change it for the world. Perhaps that is your situation. Don't wish for it because it's a reason why you don't got it.

I mean it'll come in due time...I mean if you got married tomorrow, you might have missed out on an important lesson from school next February that you would need to be a great wife. Or that babysitting favor someone cashed in that let's you be a better mom in like two years.


Shake it off cause it'll come. Just pray for a good man and let God do the rest.




Though on a personal note I'd be worried if I was manless at 37. I mean manless, never having been in love, and childless at 37. I mean nothing to show for my past relationships or no past relationships...now I'm thinking of something that happened this weekend...pay me no mind.

I mean, at least in my eyes, there cannot be a reason for a chick to push her HUSBAND - not boyfriend, fiance, smash buddy - her HUSBAND out the house when she PREGNANT. Unless chick just plain dumb there has to be a damn good explanation for that to happen.

Yeah you ain't gotta check on chick, but an impartial ear to her her side, (or whatever), to relate back to your dude, might be able to give him a peace of mind. I don't know the sitch fully so I can't say but sometimes having that mediator can work wonders...so much gets lost between the sexes...trust me.

Sean I thought that was fucked up too. How all those other track and field folk and baseball folk juice up and they don't get jail time? Other than Marion the last couple of cases I've heard of folks just got fined.


And I'm still waiting on Castor to sue somebody for mental anguish.
