Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained:Black Female Slave Rape Movie

I can't speak for everyone else but my gripe is she isn't a well rounded character as far as Tarantino handled female characters in his previous movies. From reading the script the female character in Django Unchained only seems to get raped and tortured, the character has no real depth.

Neither was Bridget Fonda's character in 'Jackie Brown'. Certain characters are just secondary characters.

Broomhilda is the main goal for Django revenge. Which means she's imperative to the story. And Bridget Fonda's character wasn't limited to physicality as Broomhilda is in Django Unchained script. Aside from Pam Grier she occupied more screentime in Jackie Brown.

Since Broomhilda's introduction she is naked for almost her entire time on screen, flashing her breasts on a slave auction block, graphically raped repeatedly and tortured throughout the movie, at least 4 or 5 times, by individual and groups of white men, doused in mud, locked in a cage, and raped in front of her Django. That's all we know of Broomhilda that's all her role is, just an object to be raped on screen.

It would've been much better to add more to her as a character if she was going to be raped the whole movie.
