Yeah the main difference here is that the belt is flat and wide.ok so you say its ok to use belts which are made of leather (well mines have been)...
It's the same reason you can paddle a kid with a flat board, and not with broomstick or pipe!!!
Why are we swinging with such force????switches, which leave big ass welts on the body and if swung with enuff force

This is EXACTLY what I'm talking about. The object here is discipline, NOT abuse.
Again you're emphasizing my point.can remove skin like a whip... but no to extension cords... cant be with some and not the others...
Your first clue that abuse is occuring... Injuries!!!
The object is to discipline the child... not injure him.

It's amazing how many people abuse their kids, and then try to pretend it's not abuse.
No I bring up the slavery issue to show the hypocrisy.and why do ppl constantly bring up slavery when they talk about whoopings.. do ppl seriously think that whoopings became popular amongst our ppl only after they were brought over here on ships... u think parents didnt discipline their kids until 1555....
But we don't have to stop there. Hell... you wouldn't do that to the family dog. If you did, your neighbors would call the cops or the SPCA would have you hauled off to jail on some Michael Vick type shit.
If it's wrong to do it to slaves, and family animals... it's wrong to do it to kids.
There are way too many other options. Again, belts, and switches, and paddles
NOT...
whips, chains, cords, and hangers.
