I don't know if it's been listed yet but I'd mentioned it in another thread. If you haven't seen Hard Candy, it's a good watch.

This Shi t actually bombed in the movies literally only grossing 3 mill on a 5 mill budget... Yet when I think of classic 80s comedy this is up there top 10-20.. Me and my older bro still laugh at some of the phrases from this movie

I recently saw this in the early am hours. I got up to use the bathroom and this came on.

There's only 1 movie with the name project x in my book and that's the movie with Virgil and goofy and them flying planes... This was a good animal movie mixed with seriousness.. My favorite character was goofy... That Nig was like I'm not stupid every time somebody learn how to fly they never come back so imma act like I don't know wtf I'm doing to stay alive..Than he would throw up the middle finger like humans will never take me alive

Another favorite of mine. Silver bullet was masterful at not really showing the werewolf a whole lot and utilizing the art of horror, kind of like the way Jaws did the shark.

It's a man in a suit, and a fake shark. If you give them too much camera time they will look exactly like they are. However, if you use camera tricks, you will terrify the audience

Hands down this is on every dudes list of a must watch list... Classic 80 martial arts flick

It was cheesy but I don't know anybody that can say they really hated it... For a b movie it sticks in your head...

Excellent picks!

I feel like Silver Bullet is underrated, all i ever hear about is The Howling(rightfully so) and American Werewolf in London.

I think people didn't like the fact that the Werewolf looked like a wolf/bear. LOL

The scene in the woods is classic cinema.

Big Trouble and Killer Clowns are the definition of cult classics.

Man, I was just talking to my brother about that shit. At 4:38 that was classic

"It's right here with us...it's UNDER the fog. Stop backing up, Andy. Real...slow"

Menace II Society (1993)

Easily one of the TOP 3 BIGGEST 'hood/cult classics' ever made. This movie had a budget of $3.5 million, and it made $27 million in theaters... so it did EXTREMELY WELL for a low-budget film... but the main reason this movie didn't get a lot of fanfare is because it had such a very, very SHORT RUN at the box-office. It literally dropped during Memorial Day Weekend 1993... but was gone from most movie theaters by the 4th of July, just 6 weeks later. Blink and you missed it at the box-office.

Friday (1995)

Probably the #1 BIGGEST 'hood/cult classic' ever made. This movie was EXACTLY like Menace II Society. It had a budget of $3.5 million, and it made $27 million in theaters... so it did EXTREMELY WELL, financially speaking. But it had an EVEN SHORTER RUN than Menace II Society. Lasting only 5 WEEKS  at the box-office. It dropped the last week in April 1993... and was gone from most theaters by the last week of May 1993.

Office Space (1999)

Considered a major flop at the box-office, this is arguably one of the BIGGEST "Cult Classic" movies of ALL-TIME. This movie has been responsible for countless "memes" over the past 20 years, since its theatrical release. It broke-even... with a production budget of $10 million, it made $10 million (domestic) at the box office... And that's considered a major "financial loss" in Hollywood.

The Shawshank Redemption (1994)

This movie only opened in 22 theaters when it was originally released, It had a budget of $25 million, but only made $28 million (domestic) at the box office. However, it was nominated for (7) SEVEN Academy Awards in 1994... but Shawshank lost to movies like "Forrest Gump" & "The Lion King" in their respective Oscar nomination categories.

A Soldier's Story (1984)

This movie had a production budget of $6 million... but it only made $21 million in theaters. Not necessarily a major financial flop.... but it is DEFINITELY a major BGOL Cult Classic.

Suicide Kings (1998)

This movie had a budget of $5 million... but it only made $1.7 million in theaters. Considered a major theatrical flop, but it was hilariously funny, had some great acting & a good "plot twist" that you probably won't see coming at all. It's entertaining as hell.

Falling Down (1993)

This movie had a budget of $25 million... but it only made $40 million in theaters domestically. Nothing to brag about, financially speaking. But it's the performances of Michael Douglas and Robert Duvall that make it all worthwhile & a very memorable cult classic.

Blade Runner (1982)

When it was released in 1982, the movie only made $33 million... from a production budget of $28 million. But it eventually found a LARGE international audience after it was released on Home Video, VHS, DVD & Cable TV. Now 27 years later, it is regarded by countless fans & movie critics all over the world as one of the GREATEST Sci-Fi movies ever made.

Poolhall Junkies (2003)

This movie made LESS than just $1 million at the box-office... but Christopher Walken steals the whole movie in the few scenes that he is in.... and his "Lion Speech" made it a cult classic.

Grosse Point Blank (1997)

This movie only made $28 million on a budget of $15 million. Yes, it made money, but it definitely 'flew under the radar' of most people when it originally hit movie theaters in 1997. A story about CIA-trained assassin named Martin Blank (John Cusack) who has trouble focusing on his work, which results in a failed assignment... so he returns to his hometown (Grosse Point, Michigan) for his 10-year High School reunion, in order to gain a new perspective on life. Hilarity ensues.
