I'm a Pats fan and amma keep it real wit you.. Brady in 2000-2005 was on pace to be the Greatest Ever... After he blew out both his knees in 2009 he's been a top 5 QB at best...

Kraft and the Pats originally said that they were no sacred cows and everybody was a product of the system... then Brady blew up got a bunch of endorsements and now Brady is more important than the system...

Brady is not better than Montana ...and Eli (don't like this fool one bit obv) is an elite quarterback... He's not a cannon for an arm .. laser precision... x and o guy like we used to but he's got the heart of a champion... and his rating goes seems to go up the more pressure and stress you put on him... gotta admire that

When TD came there Elway was 35... He was already a legend just by an Over-Achieving team to the Super Bowl Three Times :yes:

Sammy Wilder had a 1000yd year and some change in 1985, but Elway carried those teams... HE was the Franchise. Montana had more Talent, Brady had better coaching & a better system. Elway was BY FAR the most Clutch QB ever in the Playoffs.

Never said he didnt carried the team but,you said he never had a 1,000 yard running back,Im just telling you he did....Matter of fact he had 2, 1,000 yard running backs before TD arrived....:hmm::hmm::hmm:

Dont understand why people wanna give me a history lesson about my team, when I already know it...especially when I saw them play...:smh::smh::smh:

Bruh you're coming across as silly right now. Montana went to a different system and flourished brady has yet to do this. He birthed an offense that others have been trying to run but haven't been as good at since. Abd painter had been peyton backup for 10 gears got in last year for the first time and stunj

So you're saying Montana didnt play in the West Coast Offense for most of his career....

You said he was strictly a system qb
most of his career isn't all of his career
and when he wasn't in the system he FLOURISHED at 37 years old

elway is #2 imo

let me put it to everyone like this

if you had 1 game....1 big game and it was for your life, win and you live, lose and you die....

who would you trust to qb that game?

no if they had this coach or that

who would you call to qb it...you can have anyone in their prime.

I'm calling montana...

good luck if you choose anybody else

Brady isn't better than Montana but one can argue he is in the conversation... and I hate brady with a fuckin passion

"I think that Tommy, with all due respect, is better than Joe Montana," Kraft said in an interview with NFL.com. “I know that's a leap, but I really think he might already be the best of all time”

He admitted in his own statement that he truly doesn't believe it. He needs to stop sniffing mayonnaise so he can think clearly before making statements.

joe montana at age 37 left the 49ers and took the chiefs the deepest into the playoffs the franchise had been since joining the NFL.
Not quite, the Chiefs lost Superbowl 1 and won Superbowl 4.

But to address the question, Montana was 13-0 TD/Int. I know Brady don't have those numbers after he ran into that Giants defense - twice!

Montana played in an era where there wasnt a salary cap. Brady has achieved what Montana has with a salary cap which is harder.

Name a game regular seaon or post season where Tom Brady won a game with a touchdown pass.

Plus when Bellicheat won 11 games without Brady, it hurt him.

To be fair, Steve Young and Jeff Garcia were fairly successful after Montana left.

peyton:(:crying: i wish i could say da samething

holla at me when Brady gets 4 MVP Trophies..winning the Super Bowl was more because of the team he had around him..nigga ain't win shit since Vinateri left and that defense stopped becoming a top 10 D it used to be..

Peyton is the Greatest Qb to ever play this game..if dude had the luxury of a stout defense his whole career he would have as many Super Bowl trophies as he has MVPs..shit look at his lil bro..you think Eli breaks a sweat when when the Giants D steps on the field?

you can't..people don't give Vinatieri enough credit for being the reason the Fagtriots won those 3 Super Bowls..

kansas city chiefs passing O rank before joe montana: 20th
kansas city chiefs rushing O rank before joe montana: 23rd

with 37 year old joe montana?

15th and
20th respectively.

and for those wondering about the chiefs D?

before joe montana ranked 13th
with joe montana ranked 14th

lower ranked D, but still took the chiefs to the AFC championship game (year prior got bounced in the AFC wild card game), tied chiefs NFL record (at the time) for franchise wins all at age 37.

And he did it with that giant swelling on his throwing elbow and Brady would NEVER survive this, come back and still be the GOAT

giants stay knocking out joe....

remember this one like it was yesterday....

ended this vid with that jim burt hit.....:D

Let's say you have the best wide receivers and the offensive line and the best running back and everyone is in their prime ..which QB would you choose for your team if the choice is Brady or Montana...anyone who say Brady is lying ....

Bullshit. He had the dirtiest O line in history. Made D lines give him time because they were scared of getting their knees cracked on. Crackback rule was made because of their dirty tactics. And before anyone says it, no other teams O line was doing it.

nah steve young is a hof qb and he would have been elsewhere as well he waited remember? there were PLENTY of teams that wanted him as their starter but he waited his turn

jeff garcia that was after all of that....the whole system and coaching style changed by the time garcia got the helm
