yeah man shit is worse than it was beforeSomething was fucked up in the 1.3.5 update that was screwing with my wifi and battery life. I started draining around 17%per hour while not doing anything so I had to turn wifi off and it went back to normal. 1.4 is supposed to be real sweet next month so hopefully they will fix this wifi issue.
http://www.precentral.net/assassins-creed-hits-webosGameloft has really been rocking the Plugin Development Kit (aka the PDK), which allows for native, graphically-rich gaming apps. On top of Asphalt 5, Brain Challenge, Oregon Trail, and my personal favorite, Let's Golf, they've just added Assassin's Creed - Altaïr's Chronicles to the official App Catalog. It's $6.99 and will hopefully satisfy any latent tendencies towards violence you may have stored up after reading one too many iTablet rumors this weekend.
Palm Pixi and Pixi Plus owners: the above is one of the reasons we're able to handle what would otherwise be insane jealousy over your thin and tiny form factors: the Pixi just doesn't have the horsepower to run Assassin's Creed, so you won't see it available.
If you're into meeting people without stabbing them (we know there are a few of you out there), the Foursquare Beta got a rev in the Official App Catalog too (as Derek so kindly noted this morning), so go on and check in at your local cafe
I'm thinking about going back to the Pre.
A little over a week into using the Hero has left me a bit disappointed and underwhelmed. I don't know if its because of the hype of Android that I bought into, but I wasn't impressed with it at all. Calls are slow to come in, texts come in when they feel like it, it seems to be a universal issue with both of Sprints Android handsets.
The only thing that kicks ass about the Hero is the Sense UI. Being able to run multiple widgets and home screens is definately a nice feature to have. But everything else, I believe, the Pre does much better. Whereas the multi-touch features works smooth and seemlessly on the Pre, it tends to stutter and lag when you try and pinch zoom in or out on the Hero. Also, the transition from portrait to landscape mode either takes a few seconds to register, or doesn't work at all. Either way, it another features that the Pre does better.
I just really hate texting on the Pre, believe it or not, but the Heros virtual keyboard is alot easier to use than the Pre, and I have pretty big fingers.

Makk, I feel what you're saying on that. My main grips are the annoying way that I have to type while on webpages due to the slider formfactor & the space bar either being non responsive or giving too many spaces between characters. The latter is a physical issue with the phone so that can be resolved. I love WebOS but damn I need a candybar formfactor. I will admit the HTC Supersonic that is supposed to drop this year has me really intrigued as well.
If Sprint comes out with a 4G Android phone then I will be ditching the Pre as well.
