BANGKOK, Thailand — An American teacher and TikTok star has been arrested in Thailand after allegedly having sex with a 16-year-old girl he met online, authorities said.
Luke Rockwell was arrested on Saturday in the Thai capital, Bangkok, according to police. He appeared in court on Monday night and was released on bail.

The girl's family said he passed on sexually transmitted diseases that caused her to become unwell. NBC News could not verify this allegation and police have not commented on it.
Police Col. Vajirakorn Wongboon of the Royal Thai Police confirmed Rockwell's arrest, that he was teaching English in Bangkok and the age of the complainant. Rockwell was charged with “taking away" a minor from the parent or legal guardian "for indecent purpose with the consent of such minor.”
It is unclear whether Rockwell has legal representation in Thailand. Rockwell has not commented publicly about the case. His Tiktok account, @English_with_teacherluke, has 1.3 million subscribers but has been set to private. He did not immediately respond to a request for comment via Facebook.
The girl's mother, who is 40, told NBC News that Rockwell met her daughter in March when she had just turned 16 and that the pair met at Rockwell's home because he didn't want to be seen in public with her.
NBC News is withholding the mother's name to protect the identity of the girl.
At first the pair had protected sex, but after Rockwell presented medical documents showing that he had a clean sexual health they had sex without protection, the mother said in an interview.
On Aug. 25 the girl suffered bleeding and pain and three days later she confessed the relationship to her, the mother said. She was taken to a hospital and to the police station to file a report.
On Thursday, Aug. 30 the hospital confirmed she had STIs and the next day the police took the family's statement and issued a warrant for Rockwell's arrest, the mother said.
"The police could not find him still on Friday so they asked if my daughter can lure him out for a meeting and we did that together with police presence while she texted him. And that’s how he was arrested on Saturday," the mother said.
The police told the family that Rockwell had photographed and filmed the couple's weekly sexual encounters without the girl's knowledge, she said. Police have not confirmed this to NBC News.
"I was so shocked and it gave me a big punch in the chest. I was filled with sorrow and anger when I found out what he did [the recordings] to my daughter," the mother said.
She added that she was upset to learn that Rockwell had been granted bail.
The Thai criminal code sets the age of consent at 15 — but it is a criminal offense to “take away” someone who is over 15 but under 18 and conduct “indecent acts” outside of marriage, including when the person gives consent. The offense carries a maximum sentence of five years in jail and a fine of 10,000 baht ($280).
Thailand has a longstanding history of sexual abuse of minors committed by foreign workers and tourists. In 2008, Canadian teacher Christopher Paul Neil, who taught in several Asian countries, was convicted after hundreds of photos were found of him allegedly engaging in sex acts with young boys.
In 2009, Wayne Nelson Corliss, also Canadian, was sentenced to almost 20 years in jail for his part in an international sex tourism ring that preyed on young boys in Thailand.
Nat Sumon reported from Bangkok and Patrick Smith from London.

HISTORIC ACTS OF VENGEANCE-----ANTHONY RAY STOCKELMAN—VENGEANCE FOR KATIE

On the 25th of January, 2005, ten-year-old Katlyn “Katie” Colman was abducted during her trek to a nearby shop. By 7:30 pm that evening, she was reported missing. After five days of intense searching, Katie’s body was found near a creek by an Indiana State Police trooper.

Initially, the police arrested Charles Hickman for the crime, but there were some inconsistencies with his story. DNA evidence eventually pointed the police in Anthony Ray Stockelman’s direction. He was arrested and charged with the abduction, molestation, and murder of Katie.

After being found guilty of the molestation and murder of 10-year old Katie Collman in 2006, Stockton was handed a life sentence. He avoided the death penalty by pleading guilty to the crime. While this might appease some people for such a brutal act against someone so young, the family of Katie disagreed.

While serving his sentence, Stockelman was accosted by several inmates and forcibly tattooed with the words “KATIE’S REVENGE” spread very visibly across his forehead. As it turned out, a cousin of Katie was doing time in the same prison and took it upon himself to mark the child molester.

Once the Jan. 6 rioter known as “Zip-Tie Guy” discovered he was going to be a dad, he began having second thoughts about his role in the Capitol attack.
Eric Gavelek Munchel “has demonstrated his commitment to putting this era of his life behind him by committing to a relationship and fathering a child,” his lawyers argued in an Aug. 31 sentencing memo.
On Friday, however, U.S. District Court Judge Royce Lamberth appeared unmoved, sentencing Munchel and his mom, registered nurse Lisa Marie Eisenhart, to a combined 7.25 years in federal prison.
Eisenhart, 59, will serve 2.5 years behind bars after being found guilty in April of conspiracy to commit obstruction and obstruction of an official proceeding, both felonies, and five related misdemeanors. Munchel, a sometime bartender now working in the lawn care industry, will be incarcerated for four years and nine months on five felony charges—two of them weapons-related—and three misdemeanors.

Eisenhart, who lives in Georgia, had expressed worries that prison time would mean an effective end to her career in healthcare, according to a sentencing memo filed Aug. 31 by her defense attorney. And Munchel, a newlywed living in Tennessee, expressed concern that a long sentence would make it harder for him to provide for the baby he and his wife are expecting, his defense team said in a separate filing. (Lawyers representing Munchel and Eisenhart didn’t respond to The Daily Beast’s requests for comment on Friday.)
Munchel became known as “Zip-Tie Guy” after a photo of him cavorting about the Senate chamber in a tactical vest emblazoned with the “Punisher” logo, holding a fistful of flexible plastic handcuffs he stole from a utility closet in the Capitol, went viral. In the complaint charging the pair, prosecutors also included a snapshot of Eisenhart on Capitol grounds, wearing a tactical vest of her own, and a MAGA hat. Munchel carried a Taser on his hip while inside the Capitol, which prosecutors said clearly indicated his willingness to fight.
Munchel’s attorneys pleaded with the court for leniency, arguing in a sentencing memo that their client was at the Capitol to protest peacefully, and that outfitting himself from head-to-toe in military-style “tactical attire… [was] evidence of nothing, save a certain fashion taste.” Further, they claimed Munchel only brought a Taser because he was “convinced that ANTIFA would be present to incite violence”—a far-right fever dream that was fabricated by the MAGA crowd.
Far from being there for “peaceful” purposes, prosecutors said in their sentencing memo, Munchel’s getup “intentionally communicated to anyone looking at [him] that he was prepared for violence.” Further, as laid out in charging documents, he was heard pushing his way into the Capitol while shouting such slogans as, “We ain’t playing fucking nice no goddamn more,” and “We’re fucking ready to fuck shit up.”
As for his supportive family relationships, prosecutors said, this “should give the Court concern, not comfort.” He participated in the riot alongside his mom, a GiveSendGo fundraising appeal apparently written by his wife simply “minimizes and excuses his conduct,” and the two “appear more likely to reinforce the beliefs and behaviors that led Munchel to commit his crimes than to help rehabilitate him.” Taken together with Munchel’s past arrests for battery and low-level drug crimes, it all underscored the need for a hefty sentence, the government argued.
In certain instances, it was hard to put the figurative toothpaste back in the tube. After the Capitol riot but prior to her arrest, Eisenhart gave an interview to The Times of London, in which she said, “This country was founded on revolution... I’d rather die as a 57-year-old woman than live under oppression. I’d rather die and would rather fight.”
A felony conviction for Eisenhart—her first ever, according to her lawyers—is “almost certain to jeopardize her 30-year nursing certification and livelihood,” her sentencing memo said. But, prosecutors argued, “Despite a relatively clean record and steady employment in a valued profession, Eisenhart decided to throw it all away on January 6, 2021 in spectacular fashion, attacking her own government to interfere with the peaceful transfer of power,” it said. “Eisenhart’s behavior on January 6 weighs in favor of incarceration.”
The pair’s conduct on Jan. 6 “was the epitome of disrespect for the law,” according to prosecutors.
“With the 2024 presidential election approaching, a rematch on the horizon, and many loud voices in the media and online continuing to sow discord and distrust, the potential for a repeat of January 6 looms ominously,” they wrote in their sentencing memo. “The Court must sentence Munchel and Eisenhart in a manner sufficient to deter them specifically, and others generally, from going down that road again.”
The sentence Lamberth handed down to Munchel was exactly in line with what prosecutors were seeking. Eisenhart’s sentence is significantly shorter than the three years and 10 months the prosecution asked for.
A second mother-son duo convicted of storming the Capitol on Jan. 6, Rafael Rondon and Maryann Mooney-Rondon, are scheduled for sentencing on Tuesday.

U.S. teacher, TikTok celeb arrested in Thailand for allegedly having sex with teenage fan

American teacher and TikTok celebrity Luke Rockwell was arrested in Bangkok for allegedly having sex with an underage fan and recording the acts, police say.
A Tennessee elementary school teacher and mother of two is accused of raping a child.
Alissa McCommon, 38, of Covington, allegedly admitted to "communicating inappropriately with former students" through online video games and social media apps, where she apparently sent them "inappropriate photographs" and requested "sexual relationships with the victims," police said.
"Covington Police Department Detectives continue to investigate this terrible exploitation and abuse of these young boys," Covington Police Chief Donna Turner said Friday in a statement. "We expect to also develop the investigation to determine accountability of other adults in the case, including those who were aware of the abuse, and those who allowed or provided locations for such illegal acts to occur. I am thankful for the continued assistance by Tipton County School officials during this investigation."
The Covington Police Department initially began investigating the teacher after receiving information from the Department of Children Services (DCS) that McCommon had engaged in alleged sexual contact with a teenage male student, according to an affidavit.

The victim told police that while spending the night at the suspect's residence in 2021, when he was 12 years old, he awoke to McCommon sexually assaulting him.

Turner added that she is in contact with the U.S. Attorney’s Office, and authorities "intend to pursue any appropriate federal charges related to the sexual exploitation of these victims utilizing cellphones, inappropriate relations, and activities across jurisdictional State lines."

Authorities said there is no evidence indicating McCommon's alleged crimes occurred on school grounds. The Covington PD is looking for any other victims who may have been in contact with McCommon to come forward.

Tipton County Director of Schools Dr. John Combs told The Covington Ledger that McCommon was suspended without pay on Aug. 24, when a parent "brought forth allegations of misconduct" against the teacher that morning.

Preacher: Teachers ‘grooming’ kids should be beheaded on live TV

After falsely calling LGBTQ-accepting teachers “groomers,” Jason Graber called for their executions

GraberGroomer.png

New Independent Fundamentalist Baptist preacher Jason Graber of Sure Foundation Baptist Church in Spokane, Washington made the comments last week during a weeknight service. It’s not clear from the video how many people were in the church that night.

"The Albrechts are the best of the best in this world, they're just special and amazing people who didn't deserve this. They have been dear friends to us for many years. No one has more class, more character, more kindness, etc than the Albrechts do. They're business owners, good to the community, have always "backed the blue," and are a big deal in the sports world. Their whole family are fine and respectable people.
I'm so mad, I'm so hurt for them. For Tara as a mother to Stella and to Remy and a wife to Will, it just hurts me so badly what she went through and continues to go through. My heart is broken for what Remy and Will experienced. Remy is the best kid, he is truly special and a sports phenom. Will is the kindest person, he loves his family and his friends hard and with his whole heart. They have been handling this situation with so much poise and grace and I don't know how they're doing it.
I saw the car stop and the officer's car. There was no pursuit. You can't stop in the intersection of of 550 and Camino Don Tomas. William Albrecht stopped when he could. Justice will prevail and we will support our friends through this!
The Bernalillo Police Department Bernalillo PD better fire this horrible human being: Jeremie Navarez. This awful excuse for a human being lied multiple times in his report and said terrible things caught on camera.
But thank God for the good officer who got this bad person with no morals, no good character and who should not be a police officer at all, to stop and let them go. He got this monster to stop his foolishness and got everyone to stand down. That officer should be commended. Jeremie Navarez is not an example of a good police officer. His conduct is unbecoming and disgusting. Town of Bernalillo Bernalillo Police Department Bernalillo Police Department"
