  • Amy Ann Dillon, 28, was pulled over in Tulsa, Oklahoma, early Sunday after police saw - and heard - her driving on a rim without a tire
  • Dillon told officers she had consumed two tequila shots, but they say she could not stand upright
  • The woman allegedly failed field sobriety tests and it was later determined her blood alcohol content was nearly three times the legal limit
  • She was charged with felony DUI second offense; operating a motor vehicle with defective tires; transporting an open container and driving without a license
  • Last year, Dillon pleaded no contest to charges stemming from a previous DUI crash and was handed a one-year deferred sentence

Police in Oklahoma have arrested a woman on drunken-driving charges after they say she was spotted driving without a tire and with a full margarita cocktail in her cup holder.

According to a post on the Tulsa Police Department’s Facebook page, officers were conducting a traffic stop in the 6300 block of East 38th Street at around 1.30am on Sunday when they saw Amy Ann Dillon's wrecked vehicle driving on a rim without a tire after an earlier accident.

'We could hear her coming from a block away,' the status update read.

Amy Ann Dillon, 28 (pictured left in her mugshot), has been arrested on DUI charges after police in Oklahoma say they pulled her over in a wrecked car with a margarita in her cup holder

The officers quickly ended the original traffic stop and pulled over the 28-year-old Dillon instead.

‘When asked how much she had to drink, she stated two tequila shots (said this as she could barely stand upright),’ police later wrote.

According to the cops, Dillon also 'did not do well' on field sobriety tests, and when officers took a look inside her car, they allegedly found a full container of margarita in her cup holder.

After she was transported to the Tulsa County Jail, the 5-foot-7, 135-pound motorist was given a Breathalyzer test that found her blood alcohol content to be .21 'and climbing,' which is nearly three times the legal limit.

Police said they heard Dillon 'coming from a block away' thanks to her missing right front tire

Dillon was then booked into the jail on charges of felony DUI second offense; operating a motor vehicle with defective tires; transporting an open container and driving without a license.

Police said the woman also could face hit-and-run charges if it is discovered what she had struck, which ended up mangling the front right tire on her car.

This is not Dillon's first run-in with the law: Tulsa World reported that last year, she entered no contest pleas to charges stemming from another DUI crash and was handed a one-year deferred sentence.

Dillon was released from jail shortly before 11am Sunday after posting $2,000 bond.

A man leaving jail in Florida this week was arrested minutes later — accused of stealing from a car in the prison parking lot, police records show.

Michael Casey Lewis, 34, had just been bonded out of St. Lucie County Jail in Fort Pierce, Fla., when officers spotted him “acting suspicious” in the parking lot, according to his arrest affidavit.

He claimed to be waiting for his girlfriend — but security footage allegedly showed him checking for unlocked cars and finally getting into one.

Arresting officer Neil Lettman reported that Lewis finally handed him “a brown paper bag” with things stolen from the car — including an iPhone 7, a debit card, four packs of cigarettes and $547 cash.

“I placed Lewis in handcuffs and escorted him to our booking intake area,” the officer from St. Lucie County Sheriff’s stated in his affidavit.

He was arrested and booked back into the same jail he never properly left on burglary, grand theft, and possession of stolen property charges.

Lewis was later freed on $11,250 bond — this time managing to actually leave.

Darwinism is a theory of biological evolution developed by the English naturalist Charles Darwin (1809–1882) and others, stating that all species of organisms arise and develop through the natural selection of small, inherited variations that increase the individual's ability to compete, survive, and reproduce. Thankfully there are a number of assholes who weed themselves out of the global population by breaking numerous bones, or ending their lives via stupidity. They then end up on WSHH & BGOL.

Florida man accused of stealing from Kmart days after buying $8 million private island

Man accused of stealing from Kmart days after buying $8 million private island originally appeared on abcnews.go.com

A Florida man was arrested on Saturday for shoplifting at a Kmart, just days after he purchased a multi-million-dollar private island off Key West.

hHT_KMART_THIEF_190409KA_hpMain_16x9_992.jpg

Andrew Lippi, 59, was accused of stealing about $300 worth of household goods from a Kmart in Key West, where police said he purchased various items between March 30 and April 4, replaced them with cheaper items and returned them for a refund.

Lippi made headlines last week when he purchased Thompson Island, a private estate formerly owned by the philanthropist and developer Edward B. Knight, for $8 million, according to ABC Miami affiliate WPLG.

Lippi also owns a 12-bedroom resort compound in Key West that MTV used to film a season of "The Real World" in 2006. That property rents for about $1,800 a night on Airbnb, WPLG reported.

Lippi stands accused of stealing multiple items, including LED light bulbs and a $55 Hamilton Beach coffee maker, which he allegedly "replaced with a much older coffee maker" and returned for a full refund, according to the Key West Police Department.

Police said Lippi also bought a $150 Keurig coffee machine on March 30, returned it and received a full refund a day later. Kmart employees notified the store's loss prevention officer after realizing the coffee machine box instead contained a basketball, according to police.

Lippi denied denied stealing the items, according to a police report.

"Lippi stated he did not change out any items prior to returning them," the arresting officer wrote in the report. "I asked Lippi about the Keurig coffee machine being replaced by a basketball, and he stated the clerk should have realized there was no coffee machine by the weight of the box.

"I asked Lippi about the light bulbs, and he stated he returned the light bulbs because he paid too much money for them and did not know how they were switched."

ABC News could not reach Lippi for comment late Monday night, but he told the Miami Herald that the situation "has to do with a commercial dispute."

"It's very complicated and I’d rather not get into it," Lippi told the Herald in a phone interview. "I will say this, that the way it was handled by Key West police and the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department was wonderful. Some of the finest people I’ve ever dealt with who were kind throughout the whole process."

Lippi was arrested on grand theft charges and released the following day. Jail records show he posted no bond for his release. He's scheduled to appear in court for an arraignment on April 18.

ABC News' Ben Stein contributed to this report.

Video captures wild Florida car chase and deadly shootout

A dramatic shootout between Florida police and a suspect who allegedly stole a pickup truck at gunpoint was captured Thursday by bodycam video from just about every angle. The wild scene, from the car chase to the takedown, played out in broad daylight.

It started when police responded to a call Thursday afternoon from a Deltona, Florida, woman who was carjacked by a man with a gun, CBS News' Kenneth Craig reports. The man was 30-year-old Phillip Thomas Marsh, who was reported missing earlier this week. Police say he was known to act violently toward law enforcement.

Marsh led police on a high-speed chase across Volusia County. He avoided several attempts to slow him down, often brandishing his firearm to keep officers away and even swerving at a deputy deploying stop sticks on the truck.

After several stop stick hits, with all four tires appearing to be deflated, the truck came to a stop. Marsh immediately fired his weapon at the officers while attempting to escape. Deputies returned fire and struck Marsh several times. He later died in a hospital.

Sergeant Thomas Dane of the Volusia County Sheriff's Office was nearly killed when a bullet grazed the top of his head. He is expected to make a full recovery.

Sheriff Mark Chitwood, who was among several units on the scene, commended the deputies for their bravery.

"I can tell you, in 32 years of policing this is the luckiest day," Chitwood said. "Because a millimeter lower and Sgt. Dane is dead."

The sheriff said Saturday morning that Friday was Sgt. Dane's 55th birthday. He also said he is doing "well" and is eager to return to work.

All the deputies who fired their weapons are on leave – which is standard – as state law enforcement officers investigate the shooting.
