The secret cult caves of polyamorous Mormon 'prophet' with 85 wives are seen for first time

An expert has revealed what's hidden inside secret caves in Arizona created by the self-proclaimed prophet of a polygamous cult.

In preparation for the end of the world, the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, led by Warren Jeffs, began digging caves underneath the compound that housed his enormous 'family'.

Jeffs is currently serving a life sentence for aggravated sexual assault and a further 20 years for another count of sexual assault.

'Not only were they preparing for the end of the world from a religious standpoint, but they were temporarily preparing for it,' veteran investigator Mike King told NewsNation.

'And they started digging caves that I heard about all the years I was investigating out there, but I could never prove (their existence), I could never find it when I talked to members of the FLDS.'

The church, a radical Mormon denomination of around 13,000, had mostly previously denied the existence of the caves.

Members told King 'we’ve heard about it, but [the caves] don’t exist'.

'I would talk to leaders in the church who fell away and said, "No, it doesn’t exist,"' King added.

Polygamess: Woman Busted In Throuple Tussle

After three becomes two, domestic disturbance ensues

SEPTEMBER 26--The contentious demise of a throuple resulted in the arrest of a female member of the polygamous trio, police report.

Responding to a 10 PM domestic disturbance call, police in Summerfield, Florida encountered Devon Driscoll, 26, who “advised she wants her ex-boyfriend and ex-girlfriend to get kicked out of the house.”

The residence is a doublewide mobile home that was purchased by Driscoll’s mother in 2023 for $172,500, according to property records.

Driscoll, police reported, explained that she “was in a polygamous relationship with the two but has since broken up and wants them out.” Driscoll’s former partners were Anicia Bolivar, 25, and Christopher Rosario, 27. Bolivar and Rosario have a daughter in common, court records show.

As for two becoming three, it is unclear when Driscoll got involved with Bolivar and Rosario (each of whom is pictured above).

OCTOBER 1--Minutes after vandalizing 17 cars in a Missouri college parking lot, a 19-year-old sophomore had a lengthy ChatGPT conversation during which he confessed to the crime, asked about the possibility of getting caught, and wondered, “is there any way they could know it was me,” according to a police probable cause statement.

Ryan Schaefer was arrested yesterday and charged with felony property damage for a rampage early Sunday at a Missouri State University parking lot. Investigators allege that Schaefer shattered car windows, ripped off side mirrors, dented hoods, and broke windshield wipers during the 3 AM spree.

When confronted with surveillance footage and other evidence, Schaefer said that he could see the resemblance between the suspect and himself. At that point, Schaefer reportedly consented to a search of his iPhone.

A subsequent review of the device revealed location data placing Schaefer “at or near the scene of the crime,” as well as a “troubling dialogue exchange this defendant seems to have had with artificial intelligence software installed on his phone,” prosecutors reported.

The incriminating ChatGPT conversation--filled with typos--opened with Schaefer asking, “How fucked am I” and “qilll I go to jail.” After the AI program “gave tips about the potential outcome of getting caught or being involved in this kind of behavior,” Schaefer typed, “What if I smashed the shit outta mutlipls cars.”

After beginning to “spiral,” cops say, Schaefer began to “become aggressive towards ChatGPT,” saying, “I will kill all u fi kers.” Upon returning to his Springfield apartment, Schaefer began “to wind down a bit” and declared, “i got away w it last year. And I don’t think theres any way they could know my face.” He added, “it felt rrlly nice to fucktheir dhit up.”

Acknowledging that he “fucked up all those useless fuckers cars,” Schaefer wrote that the victims “all dexerve to get raped and murdered.”

Seen above, Schaefer is locked up in lieu of $7500 bond at the Greene County jail. Upon his release from custody, Schaefer will be barred from any premise “where the primary item for sale is alcoholic beverages” and he will be required to comply with random testing for drugs or alcohol. The collegian will also have to be outfitted with a GPS electronic monitoring device. (4 pages)

SEPTEMBER 30--The New York man who stole a tow truck as its operator sought to repossess his vehicle--and then proceeded to crash the hot wheels into an assortment of parked cars as astonished witnesses recorded the automotive mayhem--has pleaded guilty to a felony charge, records show.

In a deal with prosecutors, raging Russell Laiosa, 56, copped last week to a grand larceny charge stemming from the wild incident in Brooklyn’s Sunset Park neighborhood.

While Laiosa initially entered a not guilty plea to a host of charges, viral videos of the tow truck heist left him bereft of a defense for his furious September 2024 rampage.

Laiosa is scheduled to be sentenced on November 3 for the third-degree felony. While the charge carries a maximum penalty of seven years in prison, Laiosa’s plea deal does not call for a term of incarceration. Instead, prosecutors have agreed to a sentence of three years probation and fines (and they want Laiosa to complete an anger management course).
