It's not a defensive game anymore due to all the rule changes.Oregon can make mistakes,State can't.Ducks 49 Ohio St. 20

So close

I libe in California. Mariota is a second half qb. Y'all need to relax.

Keep talking when the second half wave comes I'll be back to son yall.

You know the ducks are a second half team.
OK here we go!!!! Time to get the weed, wine and waffles fresh off the griddle. Got the jump off turning fresh waffles on that iron right now. Here we go!!

Small and soft? Florida state got more size than Ohio. Stop with that shit. This game ain't even over. Foh

Y'all ain't dancing and laughing now huh???? 2nd half niggas. Oh yeah this is also when the Defense starts abusing niggas.

:roflmao2:

Mariota only has a shot if he somehow ends up in Philly because they run a gimmicky fast-tempo offense too. This guy can't read defenses. It's funny how no one talks about that. You'll never see him go through progressions.

Nope, it's one read & take off...something opens up throw it. That shit won't work at the next level.

IMO he's coaching his ass off.....you got to mix it up, he's playing the clock

Urban called one helluva game. Good balance & they fought their asses off to overcome 4 turnovers. In his time at OSU, they've lost 3 games...dude is one helluva coach. 1A up there with Saban.

Elliott is annoying as fuck.

It was at this moment you realized the game was over for Oregon :roflmao3:

this ain't nothing but an sec team in ohio.

that's it.

I'm diggin Jones' play but y'all getting ridiculous with this draft talk. Let's be realistic and come back down to Earth. Dude's played 3 NCAA games, chill. Ain't nobody drafting him unless it's the 6th or 7th round maybe.

Plus he just had a baby too. If there is any chance he thinks he could get drafted high (above the 5th is high for him), you roll while you're hot. Get the money and learn while getting paid.

straight RG3 and Redskins style.. i'm like i want ALL your picks for the next 10 years.:lol::lol::lol:

 Right. And you know in the NFL....you can go from the 20th pick to the 3rd overall the next season. I want all them shits. And Chip will pay too.

All these QBs had record stats, Heisman winners or finalists and are also NFL BUSTS.

Timmy Chang 17K career yards.
Matt Leinart multiple 30+tds seasons
Colt Brennan 58 fucking TDs-BUM
Graham Harrell 1st QB ever to throw for 5K yds in multiple seasons
Chase Daniels 13k career passing yds
Kellen Moore 35+tds multiple seasons
Danny Wuerffel...

The list goes on and on of QBs with major stats that turned out to be shit in the pros. I definitely have to holla at a college scouting team for some part time work. Jones showed a lot of immeasurable skills that can translate very well at the pro level. He needs a good and patient o coordinator to groom him.

final score would have been close as hell if the sides would have been switched for the OP

Ohio 48

Ducks 17

..................................OP, missed his Prophet Status

it all depends on the combine and pro day. that makes or breaks him period.

3 games he's proved the biggest moments aren't too big for him just like mariota proved he can't win the big one when they count.

now he needs to be a workout warrior and he'll def get taken way higher than you think for the simple fact that he's a big guy and he doesn't have any miles on him at this point.

Jones can go to San Diego and sit behind Rivers or Drewski Bree's

Yeah like I said earlier, dudes going by what THEY would do. I've seen 3rd round picks have a great workout and become a 1st round pick.

Darius Heyward Bey was a workout warrior who tricked the Raider stop take him as the 1st receiver in the draft, that one cac Matt or Mike Jones who was a quarterback in college and had a cold ass workout but no position but nobody cared and Jags drafted him in the 1st round.

Once again, the Ducks show that they can't play with a physical team. Y'all talk shit about the SEC, but Standford and OSU are two teams that play like SEC teams, and Oregon traditionally have problems with teams like these. The Ducks are like Adrian Broner, all flash and speed until they get in the ring with a fighter that cuts the ring in half and starts punching them in the face. Then it's grabbing on and holding on for dear life until the final bell rings, leaving their fans with nothing but excuse making. I don't wanna hear shit about who they didn't have, because you knew that when you made this prediction.

In three games he has proven that he knows how to hand the ball off and let everyone around them win the game. Because that is all he did.

The game plan they used with Jones only required him to occasionally make throws. His highest out put has been only 252 yards. Besides having a strong arm and big he has not shown much of anything

That's also true, and the theory of a fool and his money applies. If these players can hustle these scouting teams and GMs during their workouts then it is what it is, but Matt inlovewiththecoco Jones had a dark side. Put in work in the SEC too. It's the Jags though...

All what throws? All he was asked to do was hand the ball off:lol:

Yall niggas act as if he was lighting teams up for 500 yards
this. niccas is tripping thinking a 3rd string qb sniffing the first 6 rounds of the draft running a single wing type offense.

mofos act like urban's offense didn't fool everybody making tebow seem legit.
At 17pgs of tOSU haters commenting. We the Champs bitches!!! Fuck your SEC an your PAC 10, undisputed best team in college!!! O-H!! An we will be better next year!!!
this why mofos hate osu. did you forget that va tech beat the fuck outta y'all at HOME to start the season?
You just now realizing that Chip Kelly and Urban run the same read option offense? Urban use to visit with Chip Kelly and incorporated the Ducks offense.

It is the reason he said that he could call Oregon's plays if he wanted to.
man STFU. oregon runs a finesse offense that simply floods a defensive zone. the qb makes quick reads based on the defensive alignment; there is no power run game element...just a few runs to keep the defense honest.

osu runs a modern single wing type offense with a big bruising qb. it is a POWER run attack using counter action & jet action. it is designed to wear you down & punish you while confusing you with misdirection the whole time.

osu & auburn run the same type of scheme; that's why they recruit the same type of qb.

oregon & osu are way different offenses.

:smh: man gtfoohwtbs.
Anyone think they will add four more teams to the playoffs... :dunno:
they need to add two more teams with the top 2 seeds getting a "bye" week.

and all you motherfuckers need to remember this thread when a 2 loss sec team comes in as a 6 seed & rolls to victory. I don't wanna hear shit!

Brownturn is a fucking idiot. The stats don't mean shit. They have been plenty of stat-sheet filling QB who didn't get drafted because they've run gimmicky offense than people knew wouldn't translate to the NFL.

The question is not if he'll get drafted. he'll get drafted. It's about whether he should come out in a thin draft at QB and make the jump and learn from the bench or get another year under his belt in college. That's it.

Eewwll he would never see the bench. The NFL only keeps two active QBs on a roster. So he would never make it to the bench. He would be regulated to the practice squad. If drafted it would not come until the last round which is equivalent to a restricted free agent. At that point he would be forced to make the team.

Now let's look at this logically. If he is not able to go back to Ohio state and win a starting job...how would he beat out any QBs on a NFL squad?

You never enter the NFL early unless you have a good draft grade. His draft grade would place him as a restricted free agent and at best a last round selection.

If you say that he can make a NFL roster after only playing 3 games in his career which is unheard of. Landing the starting QB position on a college team should be easy. The young man probably has worked hard his entire life and deserves a fair chance to make the NFL.

He needs to put together a solid season which will get him that multi million dollar signing bonus and job security.

Damn....took it to them... Another Glenville product doing his thing.

Cardale Jones is cool as fuck under pressure. Didn't really see any emotion from him during the game. By his face, can't tell if shit is good or bad.

I like his Russell Wilson approach. He mostly runs to extend the play and make the correct read. No bat out of hell shit.

Should go get that pro money.

Same offense which is a zone spread read. Urban likes to use their QB in the power running game opposed to Oregon who likes their QB to attack the edges. Mostly the same zone concepts with blocking upfront

Mr jones should enter the draft fuck it take that leap

He smashed 3 of the nations top teams like it was nothing on the biggest stage, didn't take any snaps, don't even know the OSU play book and only started 3 games that pretty much made him a Household name, you already know sports agents beating down this dude door right now scrambling to sign him

The kid got the height, body type and Arm for the next level. I'm telling you niggas now if he blazes through the combine and pro day :itsawrap:

He's going 2nd or 3rd round, i would say second

Actually Oregon's defensive coordinator said that osu switched their offense up to be more like Auburn's. Urban didn't even run the power game as much until he saw Gus Malzahn do it with Cam. After Meyer saw his mistake he just made sure he'd never make it again

A 3rd string QB playing in urban Meyers spread option which has never translated well in the NFL. Where his career high passing is 252 yards and only managed the game by leaning on the run game will receive a multi million dollar deal?

Nigga will see no parts of the 2nd round. Bruh everyone in the NFL is big and Athletic.

dude, there's no tape on jones except three games. he couldn't beat out Miller or Barrett & you cats acting like he's a football god. chill with that.

the man's name is zeke elliot; he's the reason the game was lopsided & it's a shame he can't go pro bc he proved himself all season.

but props to jones. open your mind & watch the two qb's play. which one looked like a heisman winner...poised under pressure, great arm, great decisions, powerful runner, etc.?

osu has a qb issue...but a good one.

meanwhile, down on da bayou...LSU is recruiting spread option qbs to run a power-I, pro style offense. :smh: and BOTH of them suck...we can't find one average qb while osu has 3! ! !

that's not true at all.
he ran the power at florida almost exclusively. he ran it with the backs and then he ran it with tebow. just like you saw last night.

the myth is that it's a spread offense. it's not its a power running offense.

What makes them an SEC team?

The coach and the recruits

so basically everything. That ain't BIG 10 football that won the national championship. As a Penn State alumni you know that for damn sure is true.

Now what Jim is about to do in Michigan will be similar to what the Big 10's proud long standing tradition was built upon.
