Ajax - The crazy thing is that he broke into the UFC years back and had a promising vibe about him. Speed and decent striking. Claimed he was gonna go and try and capture BOTH the light-heavy and heavyweight straps over time. Things didn't work out and he fizzled out with a string of misfortune and letdowns. Then again ... he has faced some credible opposition in the likes of Couture, Jones, Silva and others ... but still a dissapointment, and he'll be gone soon (if not already). He was dumb for underestimating Jones earlier in 2010 too. He believed the hype WAY too soon. Read some of this shit for a laugh:

I will never get used to seeing my little brother's pictures on a porn board but with that aside I am happy to report that he earned another 1st round submission on the prelims of UFC 125 this weekend. I hope some of you are following his career because he is fun as hell to watch. He is now 12-1 (UFC 3-1) with 9 submissions- 8 coming in the first round. His ground game is off the charts and his stand-up is constantly improving. Look out for him!

Lawyer - Mad props to your brother, DANIEL 'NINJA' ROBERTS. He's doing very well in his early UFC career the past year ... very impressive. I watched him make quick work of Mike Guymon at UFC 121 in California in October, and 1 or 2 callers-in to the radio program MMA Junkie commented on having talked with you and your sister post-fight at UFC 121 at the arena there, and said it was super impressive seeing your enthusiasm and support for your brother. I've also listened to him 2 - 3 times (Daniel) on the radio show the past number of months. Good dude. Props to your family, man ^

He could be doing worse on here, like some fool on a world star video. Other than that your bro is doing excellent. He's in Cesar Gracies camp, has a blue belt from Cesar Gracie( who doesnt' give out belts easy) and has prob just subbed his way onto the main card. 2 Back to Back Beautiful submissions. Hopefully they don't push him to fast. Get him with the right comp and work he way up the right way.

Absolutely ... he could have easily clocked the SUBMISSION BONUS here too. The only reason that peeps are sayin' Guida copped it with his sub' over Gomi is because their fight was on the main card, and their names are more established overall. Also - Guida's been getting back on track the past year after some hit/miss years of ups/downs on his record. Big props to the homie Ninja Roberts.

Gonna be interesting to see when Edgar/Maynard both heal up and when PT. III takes place. Pettis is anxiously waiting on the sidelines for his shot at the future champ ... and who knows how long he'll have to wait ... or if he'll take another fight or two in the process?

It's a tough call ...

Rashad Evans has remained patient and gets his shot at SHOGUN in March 2011. He decided not to take any fights during his year-long wait for the champ.

JOSH GRISPI was lined up to take on Jose Aldo at UFC 125 here on January 1st. Aldo had to rest his health and back/neck ... and will return later this year. They were pegged for the co-headliner last weekend, but Grispi decided to hang in there and take on DUSTIN POIRIER on the undercard ... and he got steamrolled by Poirier in a bit of an upset, and now looks to be out of the running at his shot at the champ. Devastating for him.
