Theres no reason to think Rey ISNT Luke's kid, unless you're looking for a twist where there doesn't need to be one.
The very idea that Kylo Ren would be the only Skywalker grandkid doesn't make sense for Disney.
If Luke Skywalker doesn't have a hero offspring, there's no point in continuing the franchise.
This shit is supposed to play out like Keeping Up With The Skywalkers.
At the end of ROTJ, they took out a ENTIRE GALACTIC EMPIRE.
Then they went and got drunk and celebrated.
There was all kinds of raw fucking on Endor that night.
Fin is Lando Calrissian's illegitimate kid. Believe that.
Even Chewbacca supposed to have half-Ewok puppies running around all over the place.

really enjoyed it.payed great homage to the originals.loved all the passing of the torches. i feel like either finn or rey could be a jedi at this point. makes sense that rey would best kylo ren since her dad is a jedi but i think kylo ren will best her in the next one.and finn will best him to save her. both of them seem to have the force in them so you really cant say who going what way.felt like finn could be the next han until we see chewie and rey leaving in the millenium falacon. which she literally drove more than han did so i dont know. loved the lightsaber duels as each character seemed somewhat new to using them. gonna love seeing how they and the series develop.
 
1. Don't put old people in movies that are main characters. If you do make them a sith or Jedi with vast knowledge of the force that makes up for their physical limitation. He made old people like me look weak when our vast knowledge makes up for our physical limitation,

2. JJ Abrams can't originate shit as a director unlike Lucas and it shows. He pieces together other people work like mine. He recopied the deathstar and small fighter planes taking it out. He had many of my ideas and theories of the Universe through out the movie. Was he trying to update this iconic scene to modern standards?

3. Where is the training? It made Ren character look weak for these characters to take him on. How is a women able to hold a sword against a man? They should shown her hitting against it multiple times real fast.

4. We will see if it was a success based on the sequel. He is living off the hype of Lucas right now.

I thought that at first, but then there is that scene where Kylo Ren is in the village and he stops and stares at Finn with his stormtrooper gear on. Also Ren had told Snoke that he had felt an awakening. This was before Rey had touched the lightsaber and shown any force sensitivity.

Also, Maz Kanata told him that the light saber was a weapon when he stated he didn't have a weapon.

He would have to be 50-60 years old to be his kid, assuming he did die when he went out that window. it would be cool if he turned up alive and had just been in hiding.

Ren looked at Finn because he felt his fear. One of his troops was afraid and breaking his programing. Nothing more.

Snoke mentioning the disturbance was after Rey/Finn escape, no? Rey used the Force on the Millennium Falcon when she flipped the ship into firing position. She even said she didn't know how she did that.

She literally told him because he didn't know he had a weapon. She gave the weapon to him to hold for Rey. He was holding it, never meant to wield it.

He was holding the saber for Rey. Yes... But there were a lot of guns around that he could have used, and we have only seen characters who are force sensitive use a light saber (except for General greivious who was trained by DookU). I am assuming that she sensed it in him .

He overcame the brainwashing of the First Order. You have to remember they are programmed from birth. It would seem most likely that he is force sensitive. He is lucky too.

I think there are too many variables, also there iare similarities between the characters but they are more complex. Each one somewhat exhibits the traits of the the major characters from the first move. I think there is this tendency to want to fit them neatly in a box.

There weren't any weapons around at that moment, which is why he needed one. Since he was holding a lightsaber, Kanata told him he had one. Nothing more.

If I remember correctly, Han Solo was an Imperial Officer who saved Chewie and left the Empire due to their brutality or something like that.

Finn leaves the First Order for similar reasons.

There way too much emphasis on rey. She ended the movie with all the tools to be seated in the Jedi track of these movies, and she owns all the tools to be the rogue (chewy, and the falcon) as well? What is left for poe Dameron or finn, just to be her side kicks?

At least Han was awake and got a medal in A New Hope. Finn git a kiss on the forehead the way these white people kiss their pets.

Yall want them to just start busting slob first movie? The fact that a "storm trooper" was able to go toe to toe with the demi sith lord and get a few licks in would make Kylo Ren a huge bitch, when in any star wars movie has anyone that isn't force sensitive used a lightsaber as a weapon?

One of them (Finn or Rey) will probably break bad to the Dark Side (if the writers are smart) with the other bringing them back to the light side. Dameron I'm not sure of except I'm sure he will team with Finn.
 
I want to know why they keep trying and failing and bringing back and failing the Death Star. The Death Star does not work. Shit can the idea and try something else. It didn't work in A New Hope comment and it didn't work in Return of the Jedi, and it didn't work in the forest awakens. Just stop it. Stop that, and the one exploitable point that is supposed to be a secret but everybody knows

He could have at least been conscious to receive a kiss.

General Grevious was not Force sensitive.
 
The only thing that can redeem this story for me is if somehow both Finn and Rey were Lukes padwans in training as kids....then Luke abandons them and consequently Finn is kidnapped by the First Order..and Rey ends up a wanderer but both mind wiped somehow.

Once thier memories and early training returns to them, one ends up resenting Luke and turns.. and the other forgives and carries on the way of the Jedi.
