Official NBA 2017-2018 Thread - Final day of the regular with playoff seating still unknown

65 assists
7 turnovers
5 game winning streak
Best record in the West

Chris Paul ballin' mayne... Who said this wouldn't work??? Him and Beard averaging damn near 29 assists per game.

Man I didn't want to say shit but the offense is video game mode how they both create shots for everybody. Then you always have one of them on the floor at all times to keep the offense flowing :itsawrap:

Bruh I was ALWAYS on board with this trade. I see Harden and Paul as 2 of the smartest men playing basketball at the moment. James has his issues with turnovers in crucial moments, but you don't see that with Paul. I just knew that, in those moments, Paul would handle the rock and set everyone up with James in straight attack mode.

Then coach doing a good job resting them cats and making sure one of them on the court at all times... What team in the league can say they have 2 guys averaging 9 or more assists per game on the floor at all times?

You right fam this shit is 2k for these dudes. See that Knick game? Down by 22 then win by 15.

I like how we just flying under the radar, stacking up W's, and nobody really talking about us.

If true then my homeboy Doc needs to step down right now, they need to trade DeAndre, and start rebuilding right now.

Cavs trying to get DeAndre...

The clippers want more than just TT, the want another guard....only problem the cavs need each guard they got with them injuries

They could throw JR or Shump in. What the Cavs need to do is take a look at guys like Brandon Jennings or CJ Watson, it is point guard help and depth they need.

Man the Cavs really don't have a problem with depth...

They bring

Fyre
Green
Wade
Korver
Shumpert

All off the bench, shit I think they should play the rookie Osman more...

JR probably ain't going anywhere, Shumpert and TT but I think the clippers want that nets pick also...

If they could land Jordan, that would move Love back to the 4 and crowder to the bench, which would create more depth...

Maybe Cobe is waiting to see what Rose does before they bring in more guards...

Because IT ain't to far from coming back....(with question marks tho)

When I said depth I meant at the PG spot. I do think the Clips will want TT, Shump, and Nets pick included.

You know what is stupid?

Chris Broussard and Skeeeeyup keep saying Lonzo has had a few great games, which prove he has the ability ....

...do they not realize, if you give ANY NBA player consistent minutes, they will have BIG games every now and again. The reason why they're not great players is because they can be counted on to be great consistently.

Shit, I remember Kwame Brown had a 30pt, 19rb game.

Not getting any reasonable offers for him, but thats on us for not playing and showcasing him....

Karma is a bitch and I believe the Sixers are going to have to deal with some hardship behind how they are treating this kid... :smh:

Whats a reasonable offer for someone you never play?

What did they get back for Noel again?

I'm hearing a second rounder but no one will take the chance. I'm hearing it's a stipulation that the team who takes on his contract as is are pigeonholed to only offer him the max amount the last year of his rookie contract dictates. So if someone takes him via trade and he shows out and puts up solid numbers, another team can offer more than the six mill he is owed which in essence screws over the team who takes him.

They just need to cut him and let the kid play for another team because no team will take the chance imo

Blake dodged a bullet, BIG TIME

Only a sprained MCL
He'll be out for 2 months...

Damn...

Shit I wonder what's the level of interest for DeAndre from the cavs now...

Some said something about Marc Gasol which would be a better fit and maybe not have to move the nets pick...(I forgotten to look at the profile name)

They had

Cavs get: Marc Gasol

Grizzlies get: TT, Shum and a Cavs 1st

Gasol and Love are basically the same player.

I think they'd be better with Jordan

Jordan u have to get rid of the Nets 1st, if true vs Memphis would take Cavs 1st and players....

Marc signed they 2020

Jordan looking for max next summer...

Both brings defense and rebound....

Jordan kinda mess with the spacing

Marc's passing and range is way better than Jordan along with not having to pull Marc in crunch time because of shooting woes from the free throw line....my thing is I just like the wow factor of Jordan...

Now you say Marc and Love at the same type, remember they was tryin for to get Boogie right before the kings shipped him to Nola and word is Nola called about that 1st from the nets right after the Kyrie trade....so don't seem like the cavs are would be worried about have the same type of players....

Cavs finally ctahcing some sort of stride. And they say I.T. may be back in a few weeks.

As for the Celtics, even when they were on their streak, I still believed the Cavs were the best team in the East. Regular season heroics dont mean to me. Cavs are the only team in the East built to compete in a 7 game series. Mainly because they have Lebron.

Man I maybe way the duck off but I doubt it, I think the cavs with this team they have now could win 4-2(without TT, IT & Rose)

With Rose 4-1....

They way better than the first game to start season same as Celtics but just seem like the cavs could make easy work of them

The way i see it......just looking at two players: Kyrie could own the Cavs....but LBJ could also own the Celtics. Even if they had Hayward. They wouldnt be able to stop LBJ. LBJ is harder to handle and a better overall player, from my POV, so thats why I give the edge to the Cavs...lol

Yup...Lebron makes this shit works....

That not hating on Unc or anyone...

Just seems like this group of vets are starting to figure this shit out in Cleveland....

If wade can stay at this level of 15 but keep that defensive present and Channing/Korver keep producing that could have shit rough for the East...

Against the west if they're fortunate to make it, players like green and crowder coming into play
