Official NBA 2016-2017 Thread - 30 teams, 1 goal. 2 weeks left, so much can happen!!

He wasn't.
He was inconsistent at BEST which is what happens when you have a fucking sprained MCL some games he could go some games he couldn't most games he couldn't do it and it was evident by how he played OFFENSE couldn't run around as much was not going to the rim all the things he does off of screen action and other plays
he wasn't right. He shouldn't have been out there AND because he was it's fair to say he didn't show up in the finals because he didn't but the injury had something to do with it that particular performance
Uh huh...(ignoring 360 dunks and portland series where he returned and went off) And the finals before that?

Yes. Christmas games have always been used as the ceremonial starting point for meaningful NBA play... Its a high rated program and the league only schedules high profile contenders.

Bullshit. He was doing 360 dunks in warmups and during the Portland series was talking cash shit and yelling "IM BACK!" when he dropped buckets. Further, he played mediocre the prior finals as well.

This simply isnt true.
Yes it is true; every time I would say something or others; you would bring up portland and how I was wrong; And yes you have since gone completely silent as it relates to those blazers; also Ive never seen Curry do a 360 dunk during warm up; can you please post the vid of that; not saying its not true but ive never seen it; and everyone with a brain knows he wasnt completely right, in the playoffs, after the mcl sprain; but he was on the court so mofo should have played better period; and Christmas isnt no big fucking game; that shit is stupid; the playoffs and finals are big games!!!!!!

I'm not ignoring anything what part of inconsistent you not getting lol I understand you hate him so much you'd just ignore that he's coming off a damn MCL sprain after slipping on cac slime but that's what actually happened.
He needed more time he was inconsistent against the blazers, thunder and cavs.

#BarelyGotOffTheFloor

How many times must i say you're full of shit? Again, you made similar bullshit claims last year before apologizing. Your track record is flaw.
Can you just answer why you havent said nothing about the blazers this year:hmm:..............................

I clearly said he was inconsistent because of The MCL inury
not he as an overall player is inconsistent. Clearly said that. right here in this thread and you change that into what you're typing. smh.

Why would I? My commentary last season was based on postseason predictions. I was the ONLY one to say the Blazers would make it. They did. I reminded those who said i was crazy that they were wrong... Largebills knows and can confirm this.

Again, stop making an ass of yourself.

Let me ask my fellow bballers a question; @Mask @Selfscience @Spectrum @D-TOWN REP @Complex @KingTaharqa @playahaitian @largebillsonlyplease @IT IS WHAT IT IS @M.H.C. @Art Vandelay @LSN etc etc.... I know alot of you feel that what LBJ is doing, in regards to going to the finals, is impressive; I feel like its impressive as well; Question is, if we replace Cleveland with a team in the west; Clippers, GS, or Spurs would they do the same thing; and why not if you think they wouldnt; Going back as far as when Miami was coming out; I was having this discussion with some of the family members yesterday; so just curious as to what you guys think....

I think LeBron as an impressive player is an understatement but I don't think making it to the finals every year from that conference is impressive. Look at the competition-- The Raptors, the Hawks the year before... Cleveland straight up walks into the Finals every year. I think the East was tougher when he was with the Heat but, even then, it was a very inferior conference.

I think any of those teams you named could easily make three straight finals from the East as Cleveland will this year. Easily. The Thunder would have done it as well (because KD would still be there if they were an Eastern conference team). Other teams, such as Houston, could possibly do it.

Interesting point...i appreciate the view point..good shit

Man that's probably the most unanswerable question one can ask, but you did so since I'm first on the list here I go.

I just think Lebron singlehandley dictates the flow so much(often in a negative way than most folk realize), along with being the only constant in the scenario.

Now yes he's came up short many times, which ain't being discussed at the moment...

Replacing the Heat and Cavs with any team over that 6-7 stretch.

GS - only been hot for a few years, hint that's why they have the players they current have.

Spurs - probably could because they run a system, injuries over that time period have hurt them.

Clippers - while CP3 been there almost that same time period, they wasn't the Clippers who they are today. Injuries affect this team also.

Okc - injuries killed this team, quite often also

*When I speak of injuries, I'm referred to the best player or players on the team(Chris Paul, Tony Parker/Tim Duncan & Westbrook/Durant).

* Lebron affecting in a negative way - he controls the offense so much, when he sits the subs can't/don't make the same reads and plays that he does.

So often the team try's to run the same sets but there's way to many times they look confused.

I didn't speak on the Heat years because #1 its harder for me to remember the intraconference competition off the top of my head and, more importantly, #2 its not fair to expect any one franchise to do what LeBron did with two. He got out of Miami at the right time-- trading Wade and Bosh for Irving and Love was a smart move on his part. He upgraded in a way that you can't expect one team to in terms of the roster around him. Nobody is going to be Boston in the 1960s. That said, the Spurs might have been able to do it.

Bro this shit we've seen is impressive no matter who does it.

The teams you named all had crucial injuries during that time period.

Spurs is my pick also, but like I said injuries got to them over that time period.

You also pointed out Htown, that statement got me like what the fuck. If you don't mind can you explain that a bit more?

Folks overlooking the east but the Bulls was the best team in the east a couple of those years. Atl wasn't that far behind the dubs two years ago.
