Official NBA 2016-2017 Thread - 30 teams, 1 goal. 2 weeks left, so much can happen!!

Q: So what's the holdup?

A: The biggest sticking point is believed to be the licensing deal. This is about the money that comes in from brands that use NBA logos or likenesses of players: jersey sales, video games, "the official beer of the NBA," etc. In the past, this agreement has been separate from the CBA, but it appears the sides want to make changes to the contract now.

They have been talking for several weeks about this and don't yet have a resolution. But with so many larger matters, and since commissioner Adam Silver and union executive director Michele Roberts are focused on making sure their first CBA together doesn't involve a work stoppage, leaders on both sides believe they can get something done.

Its funny how writes frame stories; The writer tries to make it seem like both sides want to "make changes " as it relates to licensing now; No, the reality is the players have gotten smarter and want to be paid accordingly; and the owners are just now willing to hear and possibly agree to the shit....

espn got some good games tonight. thunder up baby. i thought the timberwolves would be a whole lot better than where they are at right now

Memphis can show they far real tonight...

They have to take advantage of Uncle resting...

Only thing is the Cavs will throw more defense out there...

"Kyrie Irving-Cleveland Cavaliers Irving will not play Tuesday against the Grizzlies due to a day of rest. "

Rajon Rondo-Chicago Bulls Rondo has an ankle injury and will not play against the Timberwolves

Porzingis takes four bums off the bench (one of them working on a bad ankle) and digs the Knicks out of a hole his "Superteam" brethren put them in.

Cavs are the only team doing this shit too; shit is very dumb; I just wanna hear what the Cavs fans think about this....

:hmm::smh:
:lol::hmm:..question, why didnt size play a part when they played LAC?? Cause clearly LAC has more size and skill then Memphis; so surely "size kills" right??:lol::smh:

Clips are the Clips, we're talkin bout the Clippers here. Memphis has always played the Warriors tougher. Gasol and Z Bo, with Tony Allen on the wing. Its just 1 game and the Warriors would destroy them in a series, but size does kill.

They didnt loose that game because of size; To be honest, size had nothing to do with it; GS hasnt lost any game this year because of size; Size kills only when a team isnt good/talented; And what team out there has size that is really talented??? And what do you mean by size, because if you think GS is small, then like 99% of teams in the NBA has no size then:lol:
